I'm a missionary living in Mexico. My hobby of baking is not always easy with my 18 month old, but I love trying new recipes from allrecipes.com. I love learning new Mexican dishes (the real thing, not tex-mex), since I'm here, I have alot of opportunity to do so. I could never give up the huge feasts we have at Thanksgiving and Christmas, and of course I always bake a cake when there's a birthday. I pulled off thanksgiving for twelve all by myself last year, and it was only my second turkey! The thanksgiving turkey before last year! Once I mistook pork lard for shortening and used it to make a pie-that was nasty. Too many to list.
