I've made this 5 times. It always tastes better the next day, so if you have a chance to let the flavors marry overnight, do it. This is a great thing to serve at a wine/cheese party or at an Italian-themed night. It's great served on thick slices of tomatoes and on crusty bread. I haven't tried it on burgers yet, but it would be a great topping!

Brown Sugar Banana Nut Bread I

Reviewed: Aug. 2, 2010
Love this. I've made this once with three bananas and once with four. I've added an extra tablespoon of vanilla both times. (Best tip I've garnered from baking blogs — splurge on good vanilla extract. There's a real, discernible difference.) Like the other reviewers, I added a teaspoon of cinnamon to the dry ingredients and added brown sugar to the top of the batter before baking for the extra crisp to the top of the bread. I made this the second time without nuts because I ran out. It was so good each time. Will make this again and again. Also! I added about 10 minutes to the baking time. Check with a wooden skewer, you want moist, not wet!

Shrimp Couscous Salad

Reviewed: Jul. 4, 2010
LOVED this recipe. I used one box of garlic seasoned couscous (it's regular couscous with a seasoning pack) and added the seasoning pack to the dressing to make up for omitting the cumin. I added cucumber, too (summer season, it's everywhere). I'd take to heart the suggestion about making it the night before if you can. I didn't, but after tasting it the next day I wish I did.

Quick and Easy Cheese Bread

Reviewed: May 11, 2010
I loved this. I was searching for something quick and easy and this fit the bill perfectly. I used a dark 9 in round pan and took it out a few minutes before the timer went off (I did the toothpick test). Aside from adding garlic powder and onion powder, I didn't change/sub anything. My husband loved it, LOVED it. The consistency wasn't too flaky at all. I served it with a pasta sauce and used it to sop up all the sauce. This made a good dinner, great. Thank you!

Butter Rich Spritz Butter Cookies

Reviewed: Dec. 22, 2009
Loved this! Used a Kitchenaid mixer and C&B press. Added 2 tablespoons butter, omitted almond extract and doubled vanilla — tips from other users. I added an extra minute cooking time, as the first batch at 6 minutes were slightly overdone. These were perfect and I can't wait to experiment with other colors. Thank you!!
