Banana Banana Bread

Reviewed: Mar. 10, 2008
This was very good!! I think I will stick to my old recipe though. I didnt think it was as sweet as the recipe I am used to, but the recipe I usually uses, uses white sugar not brown? Maybe thats why?

Baked Potato Soup

Reviewed: Mar. 10, 2008
This was good, however I made adjustments to make it lighter/healthier. I used lowfat milk, lowfat cheese, low fat sour cream and fat free chicken broth. We felt it was lacking a lot in flavor. If I make this again I think I will try and add some more things to make it more flavorful! Although, maybe it wasnt flavorful because I edited to make more health conscious!?

French Bread

Reviewed: Mar. 10, 2008
This was good!!! I followed someones suggestion and used the yolk of the egg and some milk to brush on...this made the outside really hard. I will make this again, but I will try something else, as I like crispier outside but not hard. I like it like the store bakeries make them. I didnt think this tasted like that.

Penne with Spicy Vodka Tomato Cream Sauce

Reviewed: Mar. 10, 2008
This was good!!! We've never before cooked w/vodka, but this turned otu nice! I was hesitant about the pepper flakes, since I like a little spice, but not too much, so I just sprinkled some in. I felt like it was lacking in flavor though so next time I will either try spicy sausage or more pepper flakes! Also I used only 3 garlic cloves and we couldnt taste any garlic so will add more (we are garlic lovers though) To make it a little healthier, I used turkey italian sausage and used lowfat half and half and 1 tsp corn starch (to thicken) and lowfat 2% mozzarella chz. Will try this again w/some adjustments! Thx!

Sweet Grilled Corn

Reviewed: Mar. 10, 2008
Oh my gosh this was wonderful!!!!! We didnt have the macadamia nut oil, so we omitted that and also forgot about the parmesan so left that out too. We melted the butter and mixed everything in and brushed on the corn....SOOOO GOOD!!!! :)

Easy Grilled Chicken Teriyaki

Reviewed: Mar. 10, 2008
We didnt have much time left so we only marinated for about 15 mins, nevertheless, his was VERY tasty!! The chicken was soo tender and juicy. Loved it!!! Will be making this again only next time making sure we have more time to marinate so it can soak into the chicken instead of just on the outside! :)

Easy Pizza Sauce III

Reviewed: Feb. 27, 2008
We (my boyfriend and I) really enjoyed this sauce. I followed others suggestions and added a little bit of sugar. I also added some basil, onion powder, some pepper flakes and some more italian seasoning. It was really good! This was my first time making my own pizza sauce. Only have had it from the pizza places. I think I will continue to use this sauce!

Jay's Signature Pizza Crust

Reviewed: Feb. 27, 2008
This pizza crust was good, although, not quite what I was looking for. My boyfriend thought it was really good though!!! I think I was just looking for more of a crispy texture on the outside. Maybe its because I dont have a pizza stone though?? I did like that it was really easy to make though!!

We(my boyfriend and I)love this dish!!! We both dont care for mushrooms so we left that out and it was wonderful! But some IMPORTANT THING TO KNOW: the honey mustard is a really sweet honey mustard (which we like) but good to know for those of you who like the more mustardy flavored honey mustard
