Baked Asparagus with Balsamic Butter Sauce

Reviewed: Nov. 5, 2007
I loved this recipe! I read a lot of reviews that said to swap the measurements for the soy sauce and vinegar. I started to do that and then changed my mind, since I really like both. I'm not exactly sure how much I put in of each, but it was great. I had some brocolli that needed to be used, so I added it to the pan, as welL and it was very good, too. My husband actually ate some and he never likes how I fix asparagus. I can't wait to make this again.

Baked Ziti III

Reviewed: Nov. 5, 2007
I made this over the weekend and I just realized I did not put in the basil. I used mini ziti and I did mix the pasta with the meat sauce. I did enjoy it, but I bet it would have been better with the basil. I'll make it again with ALL the ingredients. Thanks for the recipe!

Ham Salad Spread

Reviewed: Nov. 5, 2007
I made this yesterday with some leftover ham. I followed the recipe except I used Grey Poupon's Harvest Coarse Ground Mustard. I just finished my sandwich I brought to work and it is delicious. Thanks so much for the recipe.

Mushroom Sauce Baked Pork Chops

Reviewed: Oct. 22, 2007
I thought this was an OK recipe. I found it to be pretty bland. The pork chops were very tender. I used a food processor to slice my potatoes and they were done. It just was missing some seasonings and I don't know what to add. I probably won't make it again.

I made these for our beagle, Clara's first birthday. She loves them, Next time, I may cut the recipe in half. This makes a lot of treats for one dog.

Colorful Kielbasa

Reviewed: Sep. 16, 2007
We just finished having this for dinner. We really enjoyed it. I used fresh mushrooms that I had sauted in olive oil, instead of a jar. I, also, did not have enough cheddar, so I used some quesadilla chesse. My husband added garlic and onion powder to his. I may add that to the whole dish next time. Thanks for the recipe!

Italian Sausage Soup

Reviewed: Aug. 25, 2007
We really enjoyed this soup. I used spicy Italian sausage, low sodium beef broth and did not add any salt or pepper. It was still great and I will make it again. Thanks!

I made this last night and we really enjoyed it. Except for the zucchini, these are ingredients I usually have on hand. It was a great meal for a quick week night dinner. Thanks!

Barbie's Tuna Salad

Reviewed: Jul. 7, 2007
I made this today for lunch and I really enjoyed it. My can of tuna was only 6 oz., so I did cut back a little on everything else. I didn't really measure. I just guessed. I, also, left out the onion because I didn't have any. Thanks for the recipe!

Savory Garlic Marinated Steaks

Reviewed: Jul. 6, 2007
We made this on the 4th of July and it was great! We did not have any liquid smoke, so we left it out. We used wood chips on the grill, instead. We, also, did not marinate for 2 days. We marinated in a food saver canister for about 8 hours.

I've been making this recipe for over a year and it is great every time. We love it. The only change I make is to use garlic powder, instead of garlic salt.

Easy Cajun Grilled Veggies

We just bought a new grill. We had steaks and these veggies as our first meal. Even my husband who normally doesn't care for zucchini liked it. I know we will have this again and again over the summer.

Florida Key Lime Pie

Reviewed: Jun. 20, 2007
On our last vacation to Florida, my husband and I tried Key Lime Pie at almost every restaurant we went to. I made this last night as a special treat. While it wasn't as good as our favorite in Florida, it was still great. I used fat free sweetened condensed milk. I, also, used bottled key lime juice, so I did not have any zest. I did not make the topping. I used whipped topping as others have done. This was so simple to make. Next time, I may try low fat or fat free cream cheese and make my own graham cracker crust. Thanks!

Amish Meatloaf

This recipe is the best! I have made this meatloaf lots of times and we enjoy it everytime. Last night, I did make only half of the glaze and it was plenty. My cold meatloaf sandwich that I had for lunch today was great, too!

Easy Caramelized Onion Pork Chops

Reviewed: May 2, 2007
We love these pork chops. I have made them many times. I always add extra onions, because they are so good. I do the second simmer with the lid off, as recommended by others. Next time, I may try some of the other reviewers' suggestions.
