Reviewed: Dec. 21, 2008
We really enjoyed this bread. Next time, I may double the ingredients because it does make a small loaf.

I made this soup on Halloween. It was great to come home to dinner already done. I did substitute chicken broth for the beer. Thanks for the recipe.

Potato Salmon Patties

Reviewed: Nov. 7, 2008
This was the first time I had ever made Salmon Patties. I really enjoyed them. They were very quick and easy to make. I'm not sure I will use the canned salmon next time, but I will make them again. I do need to find a good sauce to go with it, though.

I used my stick blender to puree this. It worked great and it was fast. I enjoyed this on chicken tacos.

I really like how quick and easy this recipe is. I used chicken tenders and italian bread crumbs. It tasted better the next day for lunch.

Grilled Flat Iron Steak with Blue Cheese-Chive Butter

Reviewed: Jul. 13, 2008
My husband raved about this steak. We had some Omaha Steaks Flat Iron steaks. They were great this way. We have 2 more left and I'm sure we'll use this recipe again.

Sweet Grilled Corn

Reviewed: Jul. 13, 2008
Like others, I used olive oil, instead of macademia nut oil. I bought fresh corn from a farmer's stand. We both really enjoyed the corn this way.

Hawaiian Chicken Kabobs

Reviewed: Jun. 4, 2008
This recipe is very good. I made it after it was recommended on the Recipe Exchange. I substituted rice vinegar for the sherry. I added some crushed red pepper, but next time I may add more. I marinated for about 3 hours. I served it with white rice. Thanks for the recipe!

Dijon Grilled Pork Chops

Reviewed: Apr. 17, 2008
I loved this recipe! I didn't have any apple juice, so I added orange juice, instead. It was too windy to grill outside, so I used my indoor grill. The chops were thick, so it took a while, but it was worth the wait. I can't wait until next time when I will grill them outside.

This is the first recipe I made in my new bread machine and it was great! I was concerned that there was not enough yeast, but it rose beautifully.

Salsa Chicken

Reviewed: Apr. 1, 2008
This is a great weeknight dish. It is so quick and easy to prepare. I used chicken tenderloins, so I didn't bake it quite as long. The leftovers made a nice lunch the next day. I will definitely make this again.

Justin's Hoosier Daddy Chili

Reviewed: Jan. 20, 2008
We had this chili tonight and it was great. I've made it before, but I have never reviewed it. I've always pretty much followed the recipe, but tonight, I did make some changes per other reviews. I used 2 pounds of meat, 1 pound of ground beef and 1 pound of ground turkey. I added 3 cans of soup and only one can of broth. After browning the meat and onions, I finished it in the crockpot while we went to the movies. When we came home, the house smelled great and dinner was ready! Thanks for the recipe.

Baked Asparagus with Balsamic Butter Sauce

Reviewed: Nov. 5, 2007
I loved this recipe! I read a lot of reviews that said to swap the measurements for the soy sauce and vinegar. I started to do that and then changed my mind, since I really like both. I'm not exactly sure how much I put in of each, but it was great. I had some brocolli that needed to be used, so I added it to the pan, as welL and it was very good, too. My husband actually ate some and he never likes how I fix asparagus. I can't wait to make this again.

Baked Ziti III

Reviewed: Nov. 5, 2007
I made this over the weekend and I just realized I did not put in the basil. I used mini ziti and I did mix the pasta with the meat sauce. I did enjoy it, but I bet it would have been better with the basil. I'll make it again with ALL the ingredients. Thanks for the recipe!
