Also another member who couldn't find or get the tidbits, made her's from scratch, and I give a HUGE shout out to for personally do so because, in a do what you can, to make a recipe work  for you. Thank you Shearone for this review and I'm posting it here so that others, make try your verison of the homemade chips. Her review and scratch chip recipe:
Excellent recipe! Only thing I did differently was I made my own raspberry chips. I melted one package(12 oz.) of Nestle Premier White Morsels in the microwave for about one minute and 15 seconds or until smooth, I added 1 teaspoon of PURE raspberry extract, oil based red food coloring (several drops). Stirred all together, placed in a foil lined and lightly sprayed glass baking dish. Let the mixture set up and then I cut into chips. Then this morning I baked just as Ms7up said. I'm putting the remainder of the chips in the fridge! So addictive, it is impossible to eat only one of these cookies.

Hi Melissa, I watch your video and ordered the raspberry chips yesterday from Prepared Pantry. Can't wait to make these cookies. Do you need to refrigerate the cookies because they have cream cheese? I checked online, some said yes some say no.
Jul. 7, 2011 4:01 pm
no I've not refrigerated them at all, just put them in a baggie when they are cooled. Never have had a problem with them sitting out. Ty you for ordering the chips they are awesome, you will not regret your purchase of them at all.

I got my raspberry & blueberry chips today. Did you ever try to use sugar cookie recipe instead of the mix to make this cookies?

Doubletiger...I was going to, but my mind what into something easy and quick. It was the 1st thing I tried and was very successful. I'm looking into making some Lemon raspberry muffins without the raspberries but with the chips and see how it turns out ;-)

My favorite things to cook
Asian, Mexican, Multi-cultured foods, Low-fat, Low-sugar, Stews, casseroles, slow cooker meals and baking......Everything!!
My favorite family cooking traditions
Funny but true: Cooking traditions men sit in the recliner and women in the My family is always in the kitchen. My sister and her family, my parents and my family celebrate Christmas in January. Due to distance and work related jobs. Every year we plan what we are having ahead of time. Our tradition is usually food we've had abroad growing up overseas. Normally with Asia influences. It's always a special treat when we normally don't make the dishes often throughout the year.
My cooking triumphs
Unknown to me when I came up with a chicken and dumpling recipe of my own, my father was floored & delighted and told me it tasted just like his mother's.......My mom dropped her jaw because it was better then her's. It's a staple with my husband and kids.
My cooking tragedies
I had found a recipe for a Pretzel Pie(like Pecan Pie), thought it looked good and I didn't follow the recipe when it said unsalted pretzels. I just grabbed the normal stuff with the salt on it, made the pie, and my dad and husband were painting with thrist. And making weird pickle sour expressions, when I realized the pie was over salted. Oopppss! I never made it again.
