Look at me, mommy--haha (Jenny)This is my Jenny.....Jenny is a special little gal. She's borderline mentally re-tar-ed with autism like tendancies and other little qwerky issues. Today I took off from work because, I've picked up a lot of hours due to a co-worker with cancer and she's undergoing chemo....well, I decided I would do practically nothing and spend it with my kids.....

Ya never know what she's going to say. And she has a huge speech problem....doesn't say words right and cuts words in half and ya get the idea. She used to say her name was Enny or N-a-fur--for Jennifer. Lord help us if you asked her to say her full name. N-a-fur Na-net Doff....(Jennifer Lynnette Goff). Jenny is 8 and quite the cut up and giggler. Today I promised I'd take them to Game Stop for some video games with Christmas money from a family friend I call my uncle. Well cool as it was, they all decided, they were hungry and it's easy for me to stop at Taco Bell, because I can soo eat a taco with no problem with my bypass, and love the beans and taco meat....Jenny was telling or at least trying to tell me what she wanted to eat when it was her turn to tell me, and she says she wanted a Naco....well I got so tickled and said I'd never heard of a Naco before was this a new place to eat that sold Naco's and where do we get Naco's at, she's totally telling me , no no mommy, TA-COS...Ohh okay..she says "is whiff ya know meat and crusty thing on it, and has et-tis and wheely wheely good." So I was just rolling...she says I'm seal-we!! We get in and I order food and she got her taco kids meal and what not and it came with the Cinnamon Twists and she totally went to town, and she was sharing with me and ohh they were yummy. Well my oldest Emily asks if she can get an order of them, I had her get 3 orders. So Jenny's all excited about the toy that does 3-d stuff and I place a twist on her plate and she spouts off "Oh mommy you so hit my weakness..." We looked at her and about busted a gut....she's all smiles and we were beat red.....I'm thinking where did she come up with this. So every time I slipped her another one she just smiled at me, and says "you know mommy I so love these." well I keep trying not to laugh and she just kept it up. Well I had to take them over to get Aliena some shoes because she's grown out of shoes in under 2 months....that's another story, but any how Aliena and I come out of Payless and tell Emily who was watching Brandon and Jenny that Aliena's foot is bigger then mine, when Jenny busts a gut laughing....saying" A-nena is a kid bigger then mom" "How that happen" "A-nena a giant" "Mommy are shrunking?" I thought I'm driving, i'm going to have a heart attack....."mommy do we get big and get shrunken?" "Why owe people small?""Momma i gonna get big like A-nena and not get small".....I'm thinking, now's a time to tell her to be quiet......she maybe physically 8 but she's a typical 5 year old at the questionable and impressionable age where they wonder why about alot of things....she's such a hoot!!!!

What a sweetheart! You painted her personality very well with that story. What would we do without our kids? Life is so full of magical moments because of them...

About Me
I'm an active mom of 4 and married the love of my life. I'm a full~time certified care giver, part~time food blogger @ http://the7upexperience.com , avid & obsessed novice photographer. I love allrecipes and pretty much an addict. I'm also a new member to Banana Belt Photography Club that's local to my community, and an Allrecipes Allstar Brand Ambassador. And have stamped allrecipes on me for life. The site has opened up my eyes to so much more then just recipes. I'm proud to be a member of this site and my love, passion & learning other recipes from other valued members has really broaden my horizens.
My favorite things to cook
Asian, Mexican, Multi-cultured foods, Low-fat, Low-sugar, Stews, casseroles, slow cooker meals and baking......Everything!!
My favorite family cooking traditions
Funny but true: Cooking traditions men sit in the recliner and women in the kitchen...lol My family is always in the kitchen. My sister and her family, my parents and my family celebrate Christmas in January. Due to distance and work related jobs. Every year we plan what we are having ahead of time. Our tradition is usually food we've had abroad growing up overseas. Normally with Asia influences. It's always a special treat when we normally don't make the dishes often throughout the year.
My cooking triumphs
Unknown to me when I came up with a chicken and dumpling recipe of my own, my father was floored & delighted and told me it tasted just like his mother's.......My mom dropped her jaw because it was better then her's. It's a staple with my husband and kids.
My cooking tragedies
I had found a recipe for a Pretzel Pie(like Pecan Pie), thought it looked good and I didn't follow the recipe when it said unsalted pretzels. I just grabbed the normal stuff with the salt on it, made the pie, and my dad and husband were painting with thrist. And making weird pickle sour expressions, when I realized the pie was over salted. Oopppss! I never made it again.
