Delicious Ham and Potato Soup

Loved this recipe so much we ate the leftovers for breakfast today! Used an immersion blender for a creamier texture and topped with chives. This recipe is a keeper!

I've made this twice this week already! I went easy on the "heat" for my kiddos so I only used the cayenne pepper and no hot sauce...it was plenty spicy for us! I tossed in a little hickory smoke bbq sauce for the last 2 hours and it was delicious! I served it on the "Soft Onion Sandwich Rolls" on this site and it was a big hit when we had guests over last night. Thanks!

Soft Onion Sandwich Rolls

This is a fantastic recipe! I made them for pulled pork sandwiches and it made a simple sandwich much more special. I didn't have dried onion so I sauteed 1/2 a Walla Walla sweet onion and mixed most of that in- reserving about 1/4 cup for the tops of the rolls. Thanks for the recipe!

Roasted Garlic

The time was way off for me too. I ended up slow roasting it at 250 for about 50 minutes and it turned out soft and delicious. The timing depends on the size of garlic head you are using, so be sure to poke a clove with a toothpick at the minimum recommended time and every 5-7 minutes thereafter until it's as soft as you like it.

Roast Sticky Chicken-Rotisserie Style

I prepared one 4.5lb chicken, stuffed if full of onion and garlic. I sealed it in a Foodsaver bag for 12 hours and it cooked to 170 degrees in 3.5 hours. It was very easy, juicy, and made the house smell divine. We ate it clean and the remains are simmering for homemade chicken stock. I'll make this again for sure!

Texas Ranch Potato Salad

Delicious! I'm sure this is perfect as written, but I had to make the following changes based on what I had. I used 1c bottled ranch and .5c sour cream and .5c mayo. I also love fresh dill so I threw in about 1/8c chopped. I love, love, love this recipe- thank you for sharing!

Chicken Breasts with Balsamic Vinegar and Garlic

This is one of my favorite chicken recipes. It's easy, flavorful, and pretty healthy. The flavors work well together. I usually serve it with Jasmine rice and fresh steamed brussles sprouts. Yum!

Rosemary Ranch Chicken Kabobs

I made these for my family last night and they were a big hit! Very juicy, flavorful chicken. It was too salty for us though, so I would cut the salt in half or entirely. I used the extra marinade as dipping sauce and it was also excellent over jasmine rice. I craved this all day today and I'm making it again for dinner tonight.
