Cheesy Vegetable Soup I

Reviewed: Oct. 23, 2012
This soup was OK, but I think it had WAY TOO MUCH butter. I would cut the butter by at least half next time. I also would just use 2% milk instead of the half and half. It just had a very greasy taste that I didn't care for.

Beef Stew VI

I just love the addition of rosemary to this stew. It gives it a little something special that other beef stew recipes don't have. Highly recommended!

Florentine Artichoke Dip

Reviewed: Jan. 6, 2010
Hands down the best artichoke spinach dip I have ever tasted. I've served this many times and it always gets rave reviews -- many people have told me it's better than any restaurant!

Vegetarian Kale Soup

Reviewed: Jan. 6, 2010
This was so simple to make and so delicious (and healthy!)! I threw this together in about half an hour before going to a pot luck and it turned out great. I had many requests for the recipe. Thanks for sharing!

Rice and Raisin Breakfast Pudding

Reviewed: Jan. 6, 2010
Oh my gosh, thank you so much for sharing this recipe! This is absolutely wonderful! I didn't have all the ingredients the recipe called for -- I used skim milk instead of soy, walnuts instead of almonds, and nutmeg instead of cardamom. Just delicious -- I can't say enough good things about this recipe. Not too sweet or rich -- it is just perfect.

Slow Cooker Reuben Dip

Reviewed: Dec. 4, 2009
I've made this twice now and it's always a big hit with my guests, but not so much with me. I don't think it's very good with the cocktail rye bread -- maybe with rye chips or Wasa crackers. I used tortilla chips this time and liked it much better. I followed the advice of other users and added extra thousand island dressing.

Bacon and Tomato Cups

Wow, these are amazing! They taste just like a BLT but without the L. My guests loved them.

Spinach Balls

Reviewed: Mar. 22, 2009
If I could give 4 1/2 stars I would. These were just a little dry for my taste. I think if I made them again I would reduce the amount of stuffing.

Antipasto Squares

All the appetizers I served at my party were a hit, but these were definitely the most popular. They are amazing. So easy to make and really delicious.

Dark Chocolate Bacon Cupcakes

Reviewed: Mar. 22, 2009
These were wonderful and a big hit with my guests. The bacon really is not that noticeable and the flavor of the cupcakes is delicious. I followed the recipe exactly and they turned out great!

Easy Apple Cinnamon Muffins

Reviewed: Nov. 6, 2007
These muffins are delicious. I also substituted 1/2 cup whole wheat flour for the white -- a little more fiber without taking away from the flavor. I would agree with others who said not to fill the muffin cups more than half way. I filled mine about 2/3 and the topping spilled out all over my oven. But they were still delicious!

Health Nut Blueberry Muffins

Reviewed: Nov. 5, 2007
I was disappointed in these muffins after reading all the excellent reviews. They were okay, but I really did not care for the banana with the blueberries. My kids and husband wouldn't touch them either. I did forget to add the wheat germ, but I can't imagine it made that much difference.

Chicken Nuggets

These were absolutely amazing. I doubled the recipe for my son's 4th birthday party and they were a huge hit for both the adults and the kids. Everyone said they were the best chicken nuggets they'd ever tasted. Thanks for the recipe!

Creamy Rice Pudding

Reviewed: Oct. 26, 2007
This was absolutely delicious! For those who said they didn't get a creamy result, just try cooking the rice, milk, and sugar for a bit longer. I had to cook it for 30 minutes (rather than 15-20) before it became very creamy. Excellent recipe -- my entire family loved it.

No Bake Bumpy Peanut Butter Nuggets

Reviewed: Oct. 25, 2007
Very yummy, although they are not sugar-free as the blurb states. Even though you don't add sugar in the recipe, there is sugar in apple juice and coconut and most types of peanut butter. Still, these are a fairly nutritious and delicious snack.
