Oreo™ Cookie Cake

I made this as the recipe states and just love it! my pants won't tomorrow but who cares! It is a special occassion recipe and created for us to endulge! I felt like it was missing something, maybe a hint of mint in the pudding? maybe more pudding...I think I will double the pudding next time. Now to share this with a bunch of teenage girls...I think it will be a hit!

Classic Creamy Coleslaw

We used fresh picked cabbage from the garden; we added the salt and sugar to the chopped veggies and let it sit to pull out some of the water in the cabbage. We then added the rest of the ingredients and refrigerated....YUM! Thank you for sharing your recipe!!!

I didn't change a thing....delicious A lot of these reviews confused me with so many changes to the recipe...just try the original recipe first then play with the recipe if you must. This is a keeper.

I liked this recipe but it was a little salty with the package of onion soup when made on the stove top...I just added another can of mushroom soup and poured in a little milk until it was the right thickness. very quick and easy to make if you have left over roast :) Oh the most important note... the kids devoured the dish

Strawberry Cream Pie

Simply awesome...rock on!! This is absolutely scrumptious and no changes or substitutions were done on the recipe. For those who had runny pie I am wondering if you cooked the custard long enough or maybe you used frozen strawberries? I made mine with fresh and watched the clock when cooking and it set up perfectly. Thank you for the recipe, it is a keeper!

Truck-Stop Buttermilk Pancakes

Good protein pancake but I can taste the eggs. They were also very "hole-e", so I assume they have too much bkg powder and soda. Thank you though. I will use this recipe once in awhile. Kids loved it.

awesome! Hubby wanted me to add a dash+ of worcestershire sauce (what his momma did growing up). The gravy is good with or without the addition. Thank you for sharing, I didn't know sausage and gravy was so easy to make!

OH YES!!! I loved this recipe. No changes what so ever. The citris flavor does surprise you but it is so light tasting in your mouth instead of heavy/overpowering like a traditional sp casserole. YUM and Thank YOU for sharing.

Apple Strudel Muffins

Reviewed: Feb. 11, 2008
great recipe! I made the recipe as written, although I doubled it, and it was delicious...I did have extremely thick batter and just added applesauce to get everything stirred in. I also made the recipe with TUNISIANSWIFE's suggestions, also very good. Great recipe to tweak and play with depending on your mood. I used gala apples and they didn't have much flavor. Think I'll do granny smith next time.

Awesome! I like to cook from scratch and normally stay away from soup recipes but was in a hurry and this was truly d-lish! My subsititute (due to what was on hand) was to use cream of chicken and mushroom soup and carrots instead of peppers. Young children LOVE it!

My family, including my 2yo loved this recipe. I did cut back a lot on the hot sauce and added a little flour. I also double the recipe so I would have enough sauce to go with the rice. YUM YUM!!!!

This is yummy and easy! I did the 3 minutes on the grill and then wrapped in foil and left it on the top shelf while the meat finished cooking. Lawry's garlic salt is yummy on the dish too.

Judy's Strawberry Pretzel Salad

Reviewed: May 17, 2007
This dessert looks so pretty and tastes great! I compared this to the other pretzel salads on this site and chose this one because it had more cream cheese. I was using a 9x11 pan and wanted more guts. The recipe is perfect the way it is but I did add some clear vanilla (maybe a 1/2 tsp?) to the cream cheese before folding in the whipped topping. I used fresh strawberries and just sat them on top of the jello so each serving gets a strawberry. Since I did not mix in frozen strawberries I left the boiling water at 2 cups (some suggest to lower the water amount). I made sure all layers were cold/set before adding the next laye. Thank you for this recipe I loved it and to all the reviewers with their helpful tips!

Perfect! Very creamy, and unlike other readers I think the sweetness is perfect. For the lumpy post comment, remember to add ingredients slowly and mix well. Awesome taste and easy to work with. Thank you Rick!!
