BBQ Country Style Ribs

Wonderfully simple and delicious. I did follow other suggestions of covering with foil, then I baked at 300 for 2 hours, then another hour uncovered with sauce. I also seasoned the meat with salt, pepper and garlic before laying the lemon on top. Definitely will do this again!

Pepperoni Rolls

The dough was outstanding. I made some with pepperoni, some with sliced turkey, and some with mozzarella cheese. Next time I think I will make them with both cheese and meat, because I ended up with too much dough and not enough stuffing, so they were a bit dry. Or maybe more meat per round. This would also make a fantastic Stromboli dough (big loaf, then sliced).

Grilled Brown Sugar Pork Chops

Great flavor! As per another review, I made this as a marinade by only heating to blend in the sugar and omitting the cornstarch/water thickening. I let them sit in the fridge for a little over an hour and they came off the grill perfectly tasty!

Kathy's Delicious Whole Slow Cooker Chicken

Yum! Good flavor combination. After the 8 hours, I set the chicken in a pan and broiled it for about 10 minutes. Meanwhile, I thickened the juice with cornstarch to make a sauce for the meat and the noodles. Big hit with the whole family.

Balsamic Roasted Pork Loin

Very good! I don't usually marinate a roast, but I decided to try. I did put an onion under the roast - it works as a grate to lift the meat up a bit and adds some nice flavor. I also used this recipe with a red wine vinegar instead of balsamic. I would serve it for company either way.

Oven Fries

Fantastic!! My kids loved the "Homemade French Fries"! Instead of cayenne pepper (they don't do spicy), I used rosemary. Next time I'll try another herb.

Baked Omelet

Simple and flexible. Came out great even though it had to sit for a half hour before we ate (family came home late). I omitted the ham because my kids like their eggs and meat separate and they were disappointed when the dish was empty! I served it with sour cream and salsa.

Donut Muffins

Delicious and simple, doesn't get any better! It was the exact amount to fill all 24 cups with no leftover batter. And, once baked, there were no leftover muffins to store because we ate them all.

Yum! I have made this as stated, and used self-rising flour in place of the all-purpose flour, salt, and baking powder. Either way, the disappear faster than I can make them!!

GrannyLin's Barbeque Ribs Made Easy

Simple and delicious. I seasoned with garlic, salt and pepper before broiling, then added a mix of tomato soup and BBQ sauce right away because I didn't have enough sauce and I didn't have the time to add the sauce later. While these were good and melt in the mouth done, I think next time I will do a second broil as others suggested to add the extra crisp at the end.

Pork Butt Roast with Vegetables

Perfect! The only major modification I made was to use white wine for some of the water. Made gravy with the juice and served with pasta because I had no potatoes. Everyone raved.

Turtle Bread

Excellent recipe! I have never made bread before and this was a grand success. I doubled the recipe and made half as the turtle and the other half as a starfish for my daughter's tropics themed birthday party. Everyone was impressed with how neat they looked and how great they tasted!

Tastes great, easy to make, and flexible! Winning combination!! I added 1 T hot cocoa mix to make it slightly chocolate. The kids had fun helping me make it and helping me eat it.

Tomato Zucchini Casserole

Fantastic! Since I had a rectangular pan instead of a square one, I only did one layer. I think with two layers, the cheese would be more oozy in the middle, but it was the flavor was perfect!

Cheddar Cabbage Casserole

What a great dish! I have used this sauce (cream soup + mayo) for other veggies and for chicken, never would have thought for cabbage, but it came out great. I really like that the cabbage doesn't need to be cooked before being baked. I made two changes because of what I had on hand: cream of mushroom soup and and almond flakes cereal only on top (as other reviewers suggested). Definitely will be making this again.
