Corn and Zucchini Melody

Reviewed: Jun. 13, 2010
This was a hit. I sauteed the veggies in olive oil and seasoned with a little garlic. I used Parmesan cheese in place of Monterey Jack. No leftovers!!

Summer Zucchini Casserole

Reviewed: Jun. 9, 2010
Fantastically delicious and easy! I made my own stuffing for the bottom, steamed the veggies in the microwave with butter and put on top of the stuffing, covered with the sauce, the topped with cheese and bread crumbs since I only had a little bit of stuffing. Perfect!

Shrimp Scampi Bake

Reviewed: Mar. 13, 2010
Excellent! Easy to make and since I used pre-cooked frozen shrimp (which I partially thawed) really fast.

Five Ingredient Ice Cream

Reviewed: Feb. 20, 2010
Tastes great, easy to make, and flexible! Winning combination!! I added 1 T hot cocoa mix to make it slightly chocolate. The kids had fun helping me make it and helping me eat it.

Chicken Florentine Casserole

Reviewed: Jan. 18, 2010
Great recipe! I used frozen spinach and omitted the bacon bits (since I didn't have any on hand). I also used a mix of chicken and shrimp. The sauce is fantastic!!

Sunshine Chicken

Fantastic and Easy! I didn't measure, just eye-balled, and it was delicious. That's the best kind of recipe.

Sweet and Sour Sauce II

Reviewed: Sep. 26, 2009
Excellent! At the last moment, we made grilled shrimp, and with no sauce available, I found this. I had to use tomato sauce instead of paste because that is what I had on hand. This came out as exactly what I wanted!

Roast Pork with Maple and Mustard Glaze

Reviewed: May 9, 2009
Excellent! Without a roasting bag, I used a roasting pan with lid. I also used yellow mustard for lack of dijon. I never would have come of with the ingredient combination on my own. Thanks!

Chicken and Red Wine Sauce

Reviewed: Apr. 29, 2009
Great recipe! I did follow other suggestions and sauteed some mushrooms and onions with garlic in olive oil first and then added it back in when the chicken was browned.

Quick and Easy Pizza Crust

True to its name! But I would also add tasty! I used this crust to make "Chicago-Style Pan Pizza" from this site and it was one of the best I've ever had!

This recipe is wonderful: both easy and tasty. I did add some garlic, basil, and oregano. The house smelled great when I got home!

DeeAnn's Cheesy Bacon Cabbage

Reviewed: Oct. 14, 2008
This was outstanding. The only change I made was to fry some carrots, celery and onions with the cabbage, but it would be just as good without those extras.

Slow Cooker Chili II

Reviewed: Sep. 29, 2008
This chili was fantastic, although I did make some changes because of my personal tastes. I seasoned the beef with Worchestershire sauce. I also used extra chili powder and a dash of cayenne pepper instead of the hot sauce. This was a great meal to come home to.

Apple, Cranberry, and Pear Crisp

Great recipe! I was able to use the last of my pears, but instead of cranberries (which I didn't have) I used cherries. Outstanding!

Tangy Slow Cooker Pork Roast

Reviewed: Jul. 17, 2008
Outstanding recipe! I add potatoes and carrots as other suggested, and have also done it with pork pieces instead of a full roast. Since I don't usually have red wine vinegar, I use red wine and apple cider vinegar.

Slow Cooker Carolina BBQ

Reviewed: Jun. 11, 2008
Outstanding! My husband's comment was, "for a northern girl, you make good bbq!" I did double the vinegar and sugar while halving the cayenne pepper and red pepper flakes.

Southwestern Haystacks

Reviewed: Jun. 11, 2008
Great recipe! I did make a few adjustments - added chili powder as others suggested; added a few drops of lime juice with sour cream; and used mac-n-cheese instead of just macaroni. My whole family gobbled it up!

Becki's Oven Barbecue Chicken

Reviewed: Aug. 1, 2007
Excellent sauce!! I did the modifying mentioned by others plus some of my own - less ketchup, garlic not onion powder, added minced onions and honey, and replaced water with chicken broth. Since I did not have chicken, I made this with pork loins cut into 1 inch strips. Outstanding!!
