Mustard Based BBQ Sauce

Reviewed: Sep. 21, 2010
I have been searching for a diet-friendly bbq sauce (because of allergies I can't eat nightshade plants, i.e., tomatoes/peppers). Being from Alabama this has been hard to do! I love vinegar so increased that, and for the "kick" I miss so much, I increased the black pepper and added garlic/onion/and whisked in a few dollops of Wasabi paste. Thanks!!!

Absolutely Fabulous Greek/House Dressing

Reviewed: Jul. 25, 2010
I was very skeptical after reading reviews about the tartness of the recipe, so i took the advice of some users and added some sugar to taste. No other adjustments necessary! This is the BEST Greek salad dressing I have come across. Served it atop greens and veggies wand Feta, Kalamata olives on the side, and a nice batch of Chicken Gyros. I'm olive oil poor now, but so rich by having tested this recipe. Thank you VERY much!

Ranch Dressing II

Reviewed: May 29, 2010
GREAT recipe. I did take the advice of other reviewers and used the 1/2 Mayo, 1/2 Buttermilk, and 1/2 SC (all low fat versions). I put in extra of the onion powder, garlic powder and dill simply because I have a strange HEAVY SPICE addiction :-), omitted the salt and added Worchestershire and a dash of lemon juice. I can't wait for my fresh herbs to mature, I am sure this will be even better! Thank you for a great recipe!

Red Salmon Pate

Reviewed: Nov. 25, 2009
EXCELLENT recipe, very similar to Philadelphia's vesion of salmon cream cheese. I took the advice of others as well and used liquid smoke and crushed red pepper, parsley for garnish only. No nuts. Served it on a bed of fresh dill branches and lemon slices, and voila! Thank you!

Coconut Shrimp I

Reviewed: Jul. 25, 2008
I have been looking for a good coconut shrimp recipe and this is IT, finally! I followed the recipe instructions to a "T" and my shrimp came out better than any restaurant has offered me. Instead of the marmalade dip I mixed some Asian sweet chile sauce with a little black soy sauce and voila!

Salsa Chicken Burrito Filling

Reviewed: May 23, 2008
This is a great starter filling! I was forced to alter it one night (didn't have a jar of salsa on hand). Mixed cumin and taco season with tomato sauce, sauteed some onions and chopped poblanos/japs, and had nearly the same results. Coated the burritos with the remaining mixture and baked. Voila. I won't give this recipe out as the family swore I ordered them from a Mexican restaurant and tried to call them my own :-)
