Chuck's Favorite Mac and Cheese
This was seriously very bad, and I don't understand the high rating. AllRecipes doesn't usually let me down, but it did this time. A cup of bread crumbs is WAY too much. I almost thought about eliminating them, but I wanted to make sure I made this the way it was meant to be made. The texture was awful and grainy with all the topping on it. The was tangy from the sour cream. Other than that, there was no cheesiness to it. It wasn't creamy. Like I said, I made no alterations. But this was a complete failure. I will not make this again. I'd have been better off using Velveeta.

Bailey's Sundae Coffee Drink
This recipe is so simple and new favorite dessert!!! I made these for my St. Patrick's Day party, and they were thoroughly enjoyed by all. I used GIANT scoops of ice cream, medium roast coffee brewed in my Senseo (which I sweetened with a good amount of sugar), and a very generous amount of Bailey's. The result was smooth, creamy, lukewarm Irish coffee with French vanilla ice cream floating throughout. I liked the contrast of temperature between the slighty warm coffee and the cold ice cream. The sweetness was just right. A perfect way to end a hearty Irish meal, or any meal for that matter. Love it!

Amazingly Easy Irish Soda Bread
Let me start by saying that I HATE making bread. Or baking in general. I have a gas stove and, in my opinion, it is hard to bake with gas. That being said, this is one item that I baked that I didn't mess up! The bread turned out like a big, crunchy-on-the-outside, fluffy-and-moist-on-the-inside buttermilk biscuit. Delicious! My boyfriend wanted me to whip up some sausage gravy to pour over the top. :P I love that this was SOOOO easy to make, and there was minimal clean-up after preparing it. Any recipe that meets those requirements AND tastes good is a definite 5-star in my book. This will be a great addition to my St. Patty's feast this year! Sure to be a crowd pleaser.
