Awesome Slow Cooker Pot Roast

Reviewed: May 18, 2007
Awesome taste! Could have added more spices, but is also wonderful by itself. So very easy to make, and it does actually make it's own gravy, it's not watery, it's perfect.

Quite possibly the best pizza sauce ive ever tasted! Only thing I did differently was use fresh garlic and I didn't have just oregano so I used Italian seasoning...mmm mmm thanks!

Taqueria Style Tacos - Carne Asada

Reviewed: Jul. 16, 2014
OMG this is delicious!!! I followed exactly except marinaded for 24 hrs overnight. Used 3.5 lbs of meat and it made 10 large fajitas (2 per person) Served with green peppers and onions sautéed with cumin, garlic powder and chili powder. and then fresh chopped onions and cilantro, etc. Grilled for about 12-14 min on low (after wiping down meat with paper towel before putting on grill to reduce flare ups). Amazing - would be great serving with some homemade chimmichuri sauce!

Barbecue Ribs

Reviewed: Jul. 19, 2014
These were delicious. I was skeptical about the sauce bc at first it didn't taste like a bbq sauce but it was great! I cut into individual pcs (2 ribs per) cooked the ribs meat side down in double wrapped tin foil at 225 degrees for 4 hrs. They were very tender but I think next time I will cook at 200 degrees for 5 hrs. I then marinaded them in gallon Baggie over night in fridge. Marinade calls for chili sauce, I used 2tsp chili powder and 1tbsp of Siracha. They weren't spicy but had small kick. Then grilled them the next day on top rack on low heat for about 15 min, they didn't need any longer then that. Finally before serving I basted them with the remaining marinade from the Baggie and served the rest of the sauce in a bowl. Yummy!

Rempel Family Meatloaf

Reviewed: Sep. 28, 2010
BEST MEATLOAF!! Im not a huge fan of meatloaf - this was excellent!! I did substitute chopped white bread for the crackers. and I added some cheddar cheese and chopped tomato....ALSO - key to good meatloaf is to place a slice or two (I use 2) of bread at the bottom of the baking pan underneath the meatloaf to catch the drippings otherwise your meatloaf will be soggy and fall apart. GREAT RECIPE, try it!

Delicious Ham and Potato Soup

Reviewed: Jan. 25, 2012
Delicious!!! I used about 5 large russet potatoes and about 1-1/2 cups of diced ham steak. Instead of boullion cubes and water i just used a 32oz container of chicken broth. I also used ground white pepper and just before i served added about 1/2 tsp of garlic powder. Everything else i followed exactly! Came out wonderful and creamy!! Will definitely be making this again! Thanks for the recipe!

Guacamole

Reviewed: Sep. 28, 2010
Best Guacamole I've ever made! The only thing I changed was only doing 1/2 lime instead of the full lime. I tried it with the full lime and it was way too citrus-y

Jamie's Cranberry Spinach Salad

Reviewed: Dec. 24, 2013
This really was easy and so delicious! Tastes like the fancy salads you order at a restaurant but yet can somehow never achieve the same level of taste at home. Well not anymore! I followed exactly except instead of the minced onion, I just added red onion to the salad itself and I also added good blue cheese crumbles. Will be making this often!

Whole Wheat and Honey Pizza Dough

Excellent...you really cannot tell it's healthy. I agree with the other reviews and cooked about 10-12 minutes before adding toppings then cooked again for about 15 minutes after adding them. Will definitely be making this again!

Make Ahead - Mashed Potatoes

Reviewed: Dec. 1, 2014
I made this for 10 people. 9 Adults and 1 child. Everyone had plenty and had enough leftover for at least 6 more servings using 8lbs. Also I think I used more butter than I included in this recipe.
