Restaurant-Style Buffalo Chicken Wings

Reviewed: Jul. 7, 2011
This is the first time I have ever tried making homemade wings. These are AWESOME!! Better than any wings I've ever tasted! I used Franks original hot sauce and measured equal parts butter to Franks for the sauce....excellent! I also just used a deeper skillet and used canola oil just enough to cover a little over half of the chicken, and cooked for about 2 min additional to what recipe calls for. Everyone loved them! They were gone in a flash!

Guacamole

Reviewed: Sep. 28, 2010
Best Guacamole I've ever made! The only thing I changed was only doing 1/2 lime instead of the full lime. I tried it with the full lime and it was way too citrus-y

Excellent...you really cannot tell it's healthy. I agree with the other reviews and cooked about 10-12 minutes before adding toppings then cooked again for about 15 minutes after adding them. Will definitely be making this again!

Eggplant Parmesan II

Reviewed: Mar. 3, 2012
Great Recipe, ive made this twice and since then i have changed some things for added flavor. I used a layer of ricotta cheese in the middle for flavor and moisture, instead of dried basil I used freeze dried (or fresh), increase parmesean cheese to about 1-1/2 to 2 cups and use half of it in the breadcrumb mixture as well as some garlic powder in the breadcrumb mixture for more flavor. Yum, was a big hit!

Delicious Ham and Potato Soup

Reviewed: Jan. 25, 2012
Delicious!!! I used about 5 large russet potatoes and about 1-1/2 cups of diced ham steak. Instead of boullion cubes and water i just used a 32oz container of chicken broth. I also used ground white pepper and just before i served added about 1/2 tsp of garlic powder. Everything else i followed exactly! Came out wonderful and creamy!! Will definitely be making this again! Thanks for the recipe!

Broccoli Cheese Soup

Reviewed: Jan. 25, 2012
This recipe was just OK to me. It did have great flavor though. I followed the advice of many and doubled the cheese and broccoli as well as used half and half instead of milk, but it still turned out watery. The cornstarch didnt thicken it and i almost used more than the recipe called for. Im glad i didnt though because as i was eating it i realized i could already taste the cornstarch (kind of gritty). I do not know what else you would use to thicken it up. Based off reviews from other people i was expecting this to be comparable to Chili's broccoli cheddar soup (my absolute favorite soup in the world), but was disappointed :(

Rempel Family Meatloaf

Reviewed: Sep. 28, 2010
BEST MEATLOAF!! Im not a huge fan of meatloaf - this was excellent!! I did substitute chopped white bread for the crackers. and I added some cheddar cheese and chopped tomato....ALSO - key to good meatloaf is to place a slice or two (I use 2) of bread at the bottom of the baking pan underneath the meatloaf to catch the drippings otherwise your meatloaf will be soggy and fall apart. GREAT RECIPE, try it!

Libby's® Famous Pumpkin Pie

Reviewed: Oct. 28, 2014
Cooked at 425 for 15 min then 350 degrees for 48 min. Perfect. Will have to remember next time to leave the height of the pie dough (I wasn't sure if I should fold it over I forgot the batter rises slightly while cooking. I might consider tenting the edges with foil next time too.

Taqueria Style Tacos - Carne Asada

Reviewed: Jul. 16, 2014
OMG this is delicious!!! I followed exactly except marinaded for 24 hrs overnight. Used 3.5 lbs of meat and it made 10 large fajitas (2 per person) Served with green peppers and onions sautéed with cumin, garlic powder and chili powder. and then fresh chopped onions and cilantro, etc. Grilled for about 12-14 min on low (after wiping down meat with paper towel before putting on grill to reduce flare ups). Amazing
