Pancakes I

Reviewed: Dec. 25, 2009
Made these for the first time this Christmas morning! This is also the first time that I've ever made pancakes from scratch. I followed the recipe exactly as written and they were delicious. I won't be going back to the boxed mixes ever again. Thanks for an easy, quick and delicious pancake recipe.

Absolutely delicious! I followed the advice of doubling the spices and placing some under the skin. Moist and juicy with a nice kick of spices! A definite repeat!

Barbequed Steelhead Trout

Reviewed: Oct. 20, 2009
I followed the recipe exactly as written but didn't find it anything special. I wouldn't make it again as there are many other recipes on the site to try. Thanks for sharing the recipe though!

Ultimate Party Meatballs

Reviewed: Oct. 11, 2009
Made these last night for my guests. They were a hit! I ran partially out of the chili sauce so used ketchup for the remainder of the 12 ounces needed along with a squirt of hot sauce for a kick. Delicious!

Candied Carrots

Reviewed: Oct. 11, 2009
Made these last night. Simple and delicious. I doubled the recipe as I had guests over. Boiled the carrots for only 20 minutes which made them the perfect texture so they don't become mushy.

Pretty Chicken Marinade

Reviewed: Jun. 18, 2009
Absolutely delicious! Followed the recipe to a "T", but the family found it a bit salty so will cut down on the soy sauce next time and probably on the oil also. A keeper!

Baked Teriyaki Chicken

Reviewed: Nov. 29, 2007
Awesome recipe! As per other reviewers, I chose to double the sauce. I made it with boneless breasts and cooked it at 400 degrees for 20 minutes one one side and then turned the breasts over and cooked for another 20 minutes. I also covered it with foil for the first 20 minutes. Thanks Marian for posting this easy and tasty recipe.

This was just awesome! Didn't change a thing except I used dried cranberries (Craisins) instead of fresh/frozen.

Roast Leg of Lamb

Reviewed: May 22, 2007
I made this tonight for dinner and it was just wonderful! I rubbed olive oil on the lamb before adding the spices and used dried rosemary instead of fresh. I also cut slits in both the top and bottom of the leg of lamb for the garlic and used more garlic. For a 5 pound leg of lamb, I roasted it uncovered at 350 for 2-1/2 hours.
