Tender Italian Baked Chicken

Reviewed: Dec. 4, 2012
Made this last night and got rave reviews from everyone in the family. I only added 1/4 cup of parmesan cheese and it seemed to be enough for me. I also added some black pepper to the mayo mixture. This recipe is fast to put together and goes from oven to table in 25 minutes. A definite repeat! Thanks for posting.

Roasted Herb Chicken and Potatoes

Reviewed: Nov. 21, 2012
Absolutely delicious despite the fact that I screwed up! Instead of basting with the reserved sauce every 30 minutes as per the recipe's instructions, I mistakenly threw the entire sauce into the roasting pan with the chicken. After I discovered my mistake I simply basted the chicken with the juices every 30 minutes and it turned out awesome anyway. The aroma in the house was amazing and the chicken came out a beautiful golden brown colour. A definte repeat but next time I'll try it the right way! LOL

Cold Roasted Moroccan Spiced Salmon

Reviewed: Oct. 26, 2012
This was pretty good but I don't understand why we sprinkle the skin with the rub. It seems like a waste. The next time I make it I'll sprinkle the total amount of rub directly on the flesh side as I found the taste to be a bit too subtle for my taste. Otherwise the fish was tasty and moist.

Grilled Lemon Chicken

Made this tonight for dinner and it was a big hit with the family. I followed the recipe exactly but doubled up on the marinade. I marinated the chicken for close to 4 hours and it was really flavorful and moist. This is definitely a repeat! :)

New Orleans Barbequed Shrimp

Reviewed: Oct. 19, 2012
Made it tonight for dinner and it was a huge hit with the family. The only thing I changed is that I decreased the amount of butter to 1/3 cup and it was still fairly buttery tasting, but oh so delicious! Served it over pasta. Will definitely be making this again. Thanks for posting.

Slow Cooker Beef Stew I

Very good! The meat was so tender that it just about melted in my mouth! The only thing I omitted was the celery as I don't care for it.

Baked Salmon II

Reviewed: Aug. 23, 2012
Had this tonight for dinner and it was a huge smash with the family! The only thing I did differently was to reduce the olive oil to 4 tablespoons and I just let it marinate all afternoon till I was ready to bake it. I will definitely be making this again!

Delicious and easy, my two favorite words! The only change I made is I added salt and pepper to the chicken along with the garlic powder prior to baking.

Grandma's Brisket

Reviewed: Apr. 2, 2012
Very yummy and so simple to make! However, during the last hour of cooking I had to add water as the sauce was getting very thick and I was scared it would burn. So every few minutes during the last hour I added a bit of water and it still tasted GREAT! The added water didn't dilute the taste one bit!

Baked Honey Mustard Chicken

Reviewed: Mar. 30, 2012
I made this tonight for supper and it is simply delicious! The only thing I changed was that I used Dijon mustard instead of regular yellow mustard. As per other reviewers suggestions, I covered the chicken with foil for the first 30 minutes. This is a quick and easy recipe but most important, it is really tasty! Thanks Mary for posting!

Sweet, Sticky and Spicy Chicken

Reviewed: Jan. 23, 2012
DELICIOUS! I doubled the sauce since we like lots of sauce on our rice but next time I make this I will omit the salt as there's soya sauce in the recipe which is salty enough. As the sauce did not thicken I added a bit of cornstarch disolved in water and added it to the pan at the end. It thickened beautifully. Thank you for posting this yummy and fast recipe! :)
