Romanian Apple Cake

Reviewed: Nov. 6, 2009
Yum. Very easy and very tasty. I did half whole wheat and half all-purpose flour and it came out great. Not too sweet, too.

Baked Garlic Parmesan Chicken

Reviewed: Sep. 29, 2009
This is a keeper. Super easy and very tasty. I added some salt to the breading mixture and upped the garlic as well...I use the minced garlic from TJs and used about 2 teaspoons. It was moist and delicious. The kids and hubby loved it!

Shrimp Scampi Bake

Reviewed: Jun. 3, 2009
Yum. I halved the butter and it still came out tasty. Also, I used dried parsley, more lemon juice (to taste) and I didn't bake it...just melted and mixed everything in a skillet and added precooked shrimp to the mix just to coat with sauce and warm them up a bit. Delish!

Pork and Red Chile Stir-Fry

Reviewed: Jun. 2, 2009
It's okay. I did make the mistake of putting all the ingredients in the marinating bag together with the meat for about an hour in the fridge. Maybe that affected how the taste/sauce turned out.

The Whole Jar of Peanut Butter Cookies

Reviewed: May 13, 2009
Awesome. I substituted one cup of wheat flour for one of the cups of all-purpose and I didn't notice a difference in taste or consistency at all. Nice and chewy. I only baked them 10 minutes.

Baked Ziti III

Reviewed: Feb. 22, 2009
Yum. Very easy and very yummy. I also followed another reviewers advice and mixed the past with the sour cream, used italian sausage instead of ground beef. Otherwise, everything was exactly as written. I filled 2-8x8 dishes to the top.

Chicken Broccoli Ca - Unieng's Style

Reviewed: Feb. 15, 2009
Meh. I followed the recipe exactly but marinated the chicken overnight. It wasn't flavorful at all. Kind of a disappointment. Maybe put ginger and garlic in the marinade?

Maple Teriyaki Salmon Fillets

Reviewed: Feb. 5, 2009
Pretty tasty. It's very easy to make and my 2-year old loved it. It was just a little too bland for me. Maybe some more soy, or added ginger?

Flourless Chocolate Cake I

Reviewed: Dec. 25, 2008
Ah-may-zing! So easy and it tastes sooo good. I used 18 oz. of bittersweet Ghiradelli chocolate chips (as another reviewer suggested) and it was great. Otherwise, I didn't change a thing. Yum! This will be my new favorite dessert to make and share. :)

Rosemary Turkey Meatloaf

Reviewed: Nov. 9, 2008
Waaaaaaaay too much vinegar. I made the mistake of hurriedly making this without first reading the reviews. I'm not sure if I'll make this again using much less vinegar or just find a better recipe.

Slow Cooker Beef Stew I

Reviewed: Oct. 14, 2008
It's pretty okay. I was a bit encouraged in that this recipe called for some more ingredients than some of the other slow-cooker recipes...however, it seems like all slow-cooker recipes for beef taste the same. Hmmm... It certainly was easy, though, and pretty edible.

Very yummy. Added carrots, halved cherry tomatoes, tomato sauce, salt, chickem bouillon, and curry. Very easy.

Antipasto Salad

Reviewed: Jul. 13, 2008
Delicious and pretty easy to make. It was a hit with my friends at a park picnic! Instead of shredded mozzarella cheese, I bought a big log of it and cubed it small (as per another reviewer's advice). I also agree that it was a bit much on the oil, though. You could definitely get away with less. Also, I used half veggie oil and half olive oil. I marinated overnight and in the morning had to add a splash more vinegar and a bit more salt to taste. Thanks for the recipe!

Roasted Lemon Herb Chicken

Reviewed: Jun. 4, 2008
Awesome flavor and it's super easy to do! I followed the recipe to a T. I will definitely make this again. The only thing I might change is to rub some of the seasoning under the skin, like one of the other reviewers mentioned. Thanks so much for the recipe.

Dill Poached Salmon

Reviewed: May 7, 2008
Not bad. I added some lemon juice like one of the other reviewers said, and lots of dill. It was super easy and fast, but the flavor is just okay.

Tantalizingly Tangy Meatloaf

Reviewed: May 7, 2008
Yum! 5 stars for ease of preparation and such a great flavor. I used ground turkey and apricot jam and it still came out very tasty. I did have to increase my cooking time, though.

Mango Muffins

Reviewed: May 7, 2008
These were pretty good, but I made them with apple sauce instead of oil, so take my review with a grain of salt. They came out very "healthy" tasting. Plus, I also had the same problem another reviewer had that the muffins wouldn't come out of the paper muffin liners easily.

Grandma's Chicken Chardon

Reviewed: May 7, 2008
Awesome! Thanks so much for this recipe. It's simple and it's so rewarding! I'm definitely making this again. I didn't have fresh parsley and I used Italian seasoned bread crumbs and it still came out delish. The mushrooms are so yummy and the chicken is so flavorful. Note: check your cooking time with the thickness of your chicken breasts (mine took only 30 minutes and were juicy and perfect).
