White Chocolate and Cranberry Cookies
I've been making this recipe for about 5 years now and get requests - no - DEMANDS for it every year. My only modification is to sub about 1/2 tablespoon of vanilla and 1 tsp of orange extract for the brandy. I also add about 1/2 tsp of salt to the recipe as it is a VERY sweet cookie. I find the salt and the orange give it the perfect amount of punch to balance out the sweetness. It really is the perfect Christmas cookie.

Basic British Scones
Super quick and easy with ingredients I had in stock on a snow day! Mixed it up in a food processor, followed other recommendations to add 3 TB sugar. I kneaded in dried cherries and white chocolate chips at the end, and patted it out into a 12 inch circle, then cut into wedges and baked as directed. They rose a little but didn't really spread out. Perfect, light texture!

Urban Legend Chocolate Chip Cookies
I haven't tried this recipe, so I'm giving it the benefit of the doubt with 5 stars. Just wanted to say I worked for the store in question, and it IS an urban legend, and the real recipe involves espresso.
