Indian Naan II

Good recipe. To add to another review - Ghee is clarified butter. Don't substitute for oil...Ghee makes it authentic. :)

Grandma's Yorkshire Pudding

Great - Easy recipe. Couple of tips: after filling tins with drippings or oil, heat tin in oven until very hot (5-7 mins.), then remove from oven and fill with batter. I used regular sized muffin tins, and had left over batter. Either fill up 3/4 the way (instead of half way) which worked for me, or use a large muffin size tin. :)

Exquisite Pizza Sauce

Great - easy recipe. Thanks. I did skip the red pepper and anchovy paste - for the kids...and it was still great. One thing this can't live without is the cheese, don't skip that!

Banana Muffins II

Reviewed: Jun. 9, 2003
Good muffins... As suggested in other reviews, I added vanilla, chocolate chips (just enough to get the kids to eat them), and used half white, half brown sugar. And don't over mix the batter! Thx Abi

Joey's Peanut Butter Cookies

Reviewed: Oct. 6, 2002
Great texture! Cheap PB works - but you can taste the difference when you use good the quality, rich stuff. Skip the milk...not needed, and I also added a little more flour (1/4 C). Good consistency to roll into balls, then flatten with fork. Try to stay away from dipping the fork in flour first - doesn't help much, and adds unnecessary flour. If your fork sticks to the dough - you probably need to add a LITTLE more flour. If you've added the extra flour - and want to keep your cookies chewy, then take them out of the oven a 1-2 minutes early - then before they completely cool, place them in an air-tight container.

Absolutely the Best Chocolate Chip Cookies

Reviewed: Oct. 6, 2002
YUMMY. I did only use 1 egg...for a chewier "less-cake-like" cookie. And I bought some Mexican Vannila last time I was in Mexico...not very good at all (unless I just got a bad batch?)...don't waste your time buying it. I also used half butter, half shortening...and a little less sugar(s).

Sour Cream Coffee Cake III

Awesome! Didn't have enough sour cream...so I made a half batch...turned out great! Agree with everyone about the cinnamon. I also added diced Granny Smith apples to the center filling. My kids and husband LOVE it!

J.P.'s Big Daddy Biscuits

Reviewed: Aug. 18, 2002
Simple and tasty! One tip though...don't knead the dough! Kneading this mixing with produce a tough textured biscuit. Mix it just till it holds together...pat into a 1 1/2 inch thick circle...then cut out.
