I followed the advice to cut the sugar to 1/3 cup each and added 1 Tbsp milk to the chocolate batter- Perfect! So rich, you can only eat one, but an instant family favorite!

Barbie's Tuna Salad

Reviewed: Jan. 18, 2009
I did not like this AT ALL, I made exactly as written and it was so soupy I had to add another can of tuna and way too sweet. I actually threw it out. First time I have tried a highly rated recipe and didn't agree- sorry

Mark's English Sausage Rolls

These were good, but greasy. Next time, and there will be a next time, I might either brown the sausage first or bake on a broiler pan so the grease drips down.

Beer Butt Chicken

Reviewed: May 28, 2004
I was a little scared because I had to cook this in the oven. However, it was fine. 350* for 1.5-2 hours until the thigh measured 180* and it was terrific!! Also I thought the paprika would be all you could taste, but that was not the case. I used a thing from Walmart clled Beer Butt Chicken and it could not have been easier, just don't try to melt all the butter and add half of it to the can! Oops, red, greasy beer explosion! Very important to add cold butter to beer. No one could believe how moist it all was! I am ooking forward to trying this on the grill as well (hubby's turn to cook)

Apple-Raisin French Toast Casserole

I only needed to use 1 8oz baguette, did not pre-soak bread and it was perfect. I did broil it for a few minutes at the end to add a crunch. So Good!

so easy and so good! One batch makes enough for a pound of cooked egg noodles. I also added just a pinch of nutmeg. Not cream cheesy at all, just rich and delish. No more boxed noodles for me! Thanks
