Shrimp Po' Boys

Great recipe. I didn't change much of anything in the original recipe at all.

Adam's Dirt Cookies

Reviewed: Apr. 7, 2011
Completed recipe as written.... wonderful cookies. Used them for a Haiti fundraiser since children in Haiti sometimes eat "mud cakes" to keep from being hungry. It was a cute play on a serious subject, and we raised a LOT of donations.

Carrot Cake III

Reviewed: Apr. 6, 2011
Great recipe... substituted half the oil for applesauce to cut down on calories and fat, otherwise followed directions exactly. It was moist and I had no leftovers at a birthday party. Thank you for a great recipe!

Chicken and Dumplings III

Reviewed: Mar. 22, 2011
Delicious... addictive... amazing. I had never made chicken and dumplings before... but, man, was this recipe easy! The only thing I changed was that I shredded chicken breasts instead because it was just what I had on hand. Great Recipe!

Make-Ahead Pizza Meat Loaves

Reviewed: Mar. 22, 2011
I actually messed up and left the sauce out of the meat mixture. Since I had already formed the "meatloaves", I just poured the sauce over the top of them. DELICIOUS! Served with pasta.

Made as a side dish for something a little different on Thanksgiving. Was absolutely delicious.

Beer Margaritas

I always add more beer to cut down on the sweetness, otherwise, great recipe on a hot day!

Sausage Jalapeno Poppers

Reviewed: Mar. 18, 2011
These were spicier than I thought, but still delicious. I sent my husband out for jalepenos, and of course he picked out the biggest ones instead of the appetizer-size ones, but I wrapped them in a whole slice of bacon and ate it with a ford instead. They were delicious!

Butterfinger Cookies

Reviewed: Feb. 6, 2011
Really great.... I think that 5 butterfingers would be way too many though. I used about 3. Delicious.

Fruit Pizza I

Really delicious... made for a community group meeting and there was none left at the end. I used blueberries, raspberries and strawberries.

Veggie Pizza

Reviewed: Feb. 1, 2011
Really good... only used half of the ranch dip mix. I think it may have been too salty for my taste if I would have added all of it.

Asian Salad

This is wonderful! I substituted the sesame seeds with about 1/4 cup of sunflower seeds, but otherwise, the recipe is great as is! Will make again.

Very good! The broccoli is a nice addition to this "coleslaw" type salad.

Taco Pasta Salad

It may not be the most refined meal you will ever eat, but it sure is good! I cooked the onions with the ground beef so they weren't crunchy. This is SO GOOD... made it twice in one week. :)

Substituted shredded chicken breast for the ground beef and ginger powder for pickled ginger. Wonderful light meal or appetizer! Will definitely make again!

Grilled Scallop Salad

Reviewed: Jul. 15, 2010
This recipe is crazy good! The weather didn't permit me to use my grill, so I just cooked the scallops and mushrooms on my stovetop. I didn't even use any oil or anything with the mushrooms, and it was delicious. Will DEFINITELY make again.

Creamy Chicken Florentine

Reviewed: Apr. 12, 2011
Probably the easiest dinner you will ever make, so therefore the five stars, even though the flavor is four stars. I didn't have pine nuts, so I left those out, and I also used a frozen chopped mix of red peppers, onions and parsley instead of the fresh red peppers. I appreciated a meal I could make in 15 minutes!

Apple Bavarian Torte

Reviewed: Apr. 12, 2011
AMAZING! Very similar to those that I had growing up in Germany. For those that are saying that there is too much crust or that the apples are not cooked enough, they obviously don't know what a bavarian torte is, and were just expecting an apple pie. The only change I made was instead of tossing the apples in so much sugar, I just sprinkled the cinnamon on top and cut the sugar to about 2 tbsp.
