Lemon Blueberry Bread

Reviewed: Jul. 31, 2010
This bread is fantastic! Terrific flavor, easy to make, and my friends and family loved it. I skipped the lemon zest and nuts and instead added an extra 1/4 cup of blueberries. This was just personal preference. This recipie is a definite keeper!

Passover Chocolate Chip Meringues

Reviewed: Apr. 8, 2009
These we very good and very easy to make. I also used butterscotch chips just for a little variety. After reading the other reviews, I baked these cookies for 15 minutes and THEN turned off the over and left them in overnight. They came out perfect.

White Chocolate and Cranberry Cookies

Reviewed: Dec. 27, 2008
I LOVE this recipie. I've already made it twice and the cookie were moist, chewy, and a HUGE hit with people. Like other reviewers said, I replaced the Brandy with vanilla. I also like this recipie because it's simple and you can put ANYTHING in there and the cookies will work. My son and I are going to make dark chocolate chip cookies with this recipie later today. DEFINATE keeper.

Jewish Apple Cake I

Reviewed: Sep. 29, 2008
I made this recipie last night for Rosh Hashana dinner and it was a hit. This was the first itme I've made apple cake and it was dense, but very moist and with great flavor. I struggled with cook time after reading the recipie and other reviews here. I cooked the cake for 80 minutes and the bottom got a bit burned. Next time I will cook it less, but I am adding this to my arsenal of desserts.

Apple and Honey Sorbet

Reviewed: Sep. 28, 2008
This dish was very good and very easy to make. I was skeptical about not peeling the apples but the previous reviewers were right, it makes for a very nice texture. You can also adjust the amount of sugar to get it as sweet (or tart) as you like.

Penne with Chicken and Asparagus

Reviewed: Apr. 15, 2007
Like the previous reviewers stated, this is a very light recipe. But I also live in AZ and recipies like this a perfect in the summer when you want a meal but it's too hot to eat something really heavy. I also made a couple of modifications. I used a 1 1/4 cup of chicken broth and I also tossed in half a bag of sundried tomatoes and let those simmer with the asparagus and it gave the dish a very subtle tomoato flavor. My 2.5 year old liked this dish (although he could have done without the asparagus). Nonetheless, I this recipie is a keeper.
