Perfect Flat Iron Steak

Great recipe! I made it per instructions, except I used all dried spices and I marinaded the steak overnight. This is definitely the BEST version of Flat Iron Steak I've ever made.

Slow Cooker Buffalo Chicken Sandwiches

Most excellent. Very easy. I used boneless chicken thighs, because that's what I had on hand. Also, I mistakenly used a full packet of Ranch dressing and my bottle of hot wing sauce was only 12.5 oz. But I won't change a thing next time. It was perfect. This is destined to become a family football season favorite.

Oatmeal Shortbread Cookies

My husband loved these. I would give them 4 1/2 stars if I could. Very easy to make. Rolling in a log and slicing the dough worked well for me. I baked them on a Silpat sheet and had to bake them almost twice as long as the recipe suggested.

Six Can Chicken Tortilla Soup

Based on previous reviews, I added a can of cream of chicken soup and cut the broth to one and a half cans. I used half of a rotisserie chicken instead of canned chicken. This recipe is SO DELICIOUS! I've already shared it with three other people who love it, too.

Grandma's Slow Cooker Vegetarian Chili

A warm, earthy meal. I deleted the celery, substituted black beans for the soup, navy beans for the garbanzo, and cumin for the Italian spices. May delete one of the bean varieties next time, as this makes a very large batch.

Chicken Sandwich Casserole

We LOVED this recipe. To make it healthier, I used whole wheat bread slices, and fat free mayo, milk, soup, and Mozarella cheese. I also added a few splashes of Garlic-flavor Tabasco (will add more next time). A definite keeper!

Cranberry Waldorf

The chopping took some time but it was well worth it-my family loved it! We're not celery lovers so I used only half the celery and increased the walnuts by a third... It was great as a salad for Christmas dinner but would also be good as a light lunch salad or even a dessert!
