I guess it probably would have turned out had I whipped the whipping cream as stated in the ingredients! Needless to say it was a mess taking it over to my parents' house! I was so disappointed because I knew it was going to taste great.

If you like vanilla ice cream, then you need to try making this with CHOCOLATE ice cream! It's even better!

Annie's Fruit Salsa and Cinnamon Chips

People go absolutely crazy when I make this! I usually end up using the raspberry preserves in the salsa. Makes a nice change for your typical taco dip during New Year's!

Chocolate Peanut Butter Cups

Very time consuming but worth it. I decided to put everything into PB cup molds and make mini-PB cups. I then placed the end result in the mini-decorative paper liners. In addition, I put the PB in the microwave at 50% power so that it would easily mix with the sugar and melted the chocolate in a double boiler.

Rich and Simple French Onion Soup

Wow...I was really unimpressed and so disappointed by all the wonderful reviews it received. I even went out the same day I cooked this to get the oven proof bowls! I think it was the thyme...1 tsp was too much. Thanks anyway!

Chicken Marsala

As one reviewer suggested, I served it with angel hair pasta, which did go nicely with it. However, I just wasn't impressed at all. I thought for sure with all the reviews, it would be excellent, but I found it instead to be very bland. Something was definitely missing here.

Grilled Lemon Chicken

Really good. I omitted the red pepper (because I didn't have one!), added a bit more lemon juice, and sprinkled each piece of chicken with lemon pepper. Cooked it on my George Foreman! No complaints from the husband!
