BBQ Dry Rub

Reviewed: May 1, 2015
This was great. I cut the serving size to a fourth of the original recipe, cut the salt by half and added a Tbs of garlic and onion powder per some of the other reviews. I also used smoked paprika instead of regular. I thought it was great! I used it on boneless pork chops. I let them warm up to room temperature, I slathered the rub on as thick as I could get it, waited another ten minutes and grilled them normally. My fiancée loved it! I ended up with some left overs I want to try on some country style ribs. Don't forget to pat your meat dry with paper towels before applying the rub.

Potato and Onion Soup

Reviewed: Oct. 17, 2012
Fantastic flavor. I was concerned about the consistency (I was looking for something more like chowder) so I went with six medium sized red potatoes. It was still a little thin so before adding the cream I put it back up to boil... That was a mistake. I left for a few minutes and I had potato soup splattering all over my stove! I actually ended up adding two cups of water to thin it out. I'm going to have to play with it to get the consistency I want but overall a great recipe. I did toss a clove of garlic in with the onions and I also added half a dozen strips of diced up, cooked bacon with the cream. This will definitely be made again. Thanks for sharing.

Amish White Bread

Reviewed: Oct. 17, 2012
Awesome recipe! I didn't have any veritable oil so I used EVOO instead. It took significantly longer than half an hour for the loaf to rise in the bread pan but it was well worth the wait. I will definitely repeat this recipe.

Tuna Noodle Casserole III

Reviewed: Apr. 29, 2009
Great basic recipe! I make two 2 Qt casseroles and freeze one but I like to substitute the cream of mushroom soup for one can of cheddar cheese and one can of cream of chicken and then cut out the rest of the cheese. A can of cheddar cheese actually has less calories then a can of cream of mushrooms and I think it makes for a cheesier casserole
