Churros

Reviewed: Oct. 26, 2008
I didn't have a deep fryer so I just heated up oil in a skillet. A little more touchy to deal with, but still came out really yummy. Also I piped most of my dough out of a ziploc until it broke. Then I realized I could just form my own rolls with my hands it came out just as good.

Oh my gosh, this was sooooo fabulous! I added some cornstarch to thicken up the sauce and everything else was by the book!

Tangy Grilled Pork Tenderloin

I made this for last minute guests and they loved it. I added a little garlic and used the leftover marinade as a sauce for the rice as others had suggested. Will be making again!

Avocado Salsa

Reviewed: Feb. 24, 2008
This was awesome and super easy to make. My avocados weren't ready but I'd already mixed up the rest so the rest of the mix sat in the fridge for a few days and it made the flavors blend together really nicely. I cut out the olives because my husband doesn't like them, but I'd love to try them with the olives in it. Also, I think I may have added too much onion, bc my husband and I were tasting it for hours afterwards, but overall this was fantastic and I will definitely make this again.

Pot Roast in Beer

Reviewed: Feb. 24, 2008
This was yummy over mashed potatoes. I used Guiness, but I'd love to try a different flavor with it as well. I took off the lid and simmered about 15 minutes extra to thicken up the gravy. Definitely will make again!

Chicken Cordon Bleu II

Reviewed: Feb. 20, 2008
Delicious and easy to make. Will definitely make again. I used the reviewers suggestion of chicken stock in place of wine and it tasted delicious. LOL, just don't use "colored" toothpicks or you'll end up with blue and red and yellow dyed chicken cordon bleu (although it'll still taste good!) :)

Super easy to make and delicious tasting. I did half butter/half shortening per other reviewers suggestions, but I'm sure either way it would be delicious. Thanks!

Brownie Torte

Reviewed: Feb. 14, 2008
This was fabulous and I can't wait to make it for a "company" dessert! I tried stirring a few minutes into the baking and the edges still came out a little bit drier than the center, but it didn't take away from the taste at all. Love it!

Bev's Orange Chicken

Reviewed: Feb. 14, 2008
I tried using the crockpot, but couldn't get the sauce thick enough for my liking, so eventually I transfered to a skillet and simmered for about 30 minutes until it was thick. Good flavor and the orange wasn't too over powering.

Braised Balsamic Chicken

Reviewed: Feb. 13, 2008
I simmered my chicken for closer to 25-30 minutes, basting the chicken every so often and that left just the sweetness of the balsamic vinegar. I served it over rice and it was delicious. Already looking forward to making this again!

Delicious and super easy to make! I followed other reviewers suggestions and coated the chops in flour before the egg and I only used 3/4 cup of bread crumbs and 1/4 cup of parmesan cheese. Yummy!

Delicious! I used a 15oz container of ricotta for the cottage cheese and a dollop or two of sour cream and it tasted awesome! Definitely make sure you have the noodles well covered in sauce and you'll have a delicious meal in no time!

This was awesome. I took it a function and everyone loved it. I brought home the leftovers and my husband inhaled it for breakfast! I couldn't find butterscotch pudding so I just used 2 vanillas and I used half the oil as other people had said and it turned out great! Thanks :)
