Balsamic Glazed Roasted Potato Salad

Reviewed: Jun. 25, 2012
Delicious! We cooked the potato mixture on the grill, which added a really nice flavor to an already tasty dish. We will make this again.

Slumgullion

Reviewed: May 20, 2010
I grew up eating Slumgullion. It is quick and easy to make and delicious! The only difference is that in place of the tomato sauce and stewed tomatoes, I add one can of tomato soup, one soup can of water and 1 tablespoon of tomato paste to thicken it up.

Bacon-Wrapped Asparagus

Reviewed: Apr. 16, 2010
I make this often and it is best when made on the grill. I always marinade the asparagus first in a ziplock bag with a little olive oil, lemon zest, salt and pepper for a couple of hours and then right before cooking, I wrap 4-5 asparagus spears with one strip of bacon and then cook them on the grill. Easy, makes a wonderful presentation when serving and delicious!

Day-After-Thanksgiving Turkey Carcass Soup

Reviewed: Dec. 29, 2008
DELICIOUS!!! I used more water than chicken broth, so I added a couple of heaping tablespoons of chicken boullion granules. I also used orzo pasta instead of rice, which made it more stew-like in it's consistency. Serve with warm sour dough bread, it's wonderful on a cold, winter day. I will make this again.

DELICIOUS and easy! I made this recipe exactly as written and my husband and I enjoyed it immensely. A great way to use up leftover ham from the holiday. We will make this again!

Campbell's® Green Bean Casserole

Reviewed: Dec. 23, 2008
This is a traditional dish that I make every Thanksgiving and Christmas. I used Cream of Celery soup instead of Cream of Mushroom and I use Worstechire Sauce instead of Soy Sauce. I also used canned green beans.

Sherry Apple Pork Chops

Reviewed: Sep. 24, 2011
DELICIOUS!!! I followed the recipe exactly and it turned out great! I seasoned the pork chops with salt and pepper while browning them in a little olive oil. I also used Granny Smith apples and they baked for a total of 50 minutes. A wonderful dish for autumn and definitely can be served to company!

Truck-Stop Buttermilk Pancakes

Reviewed: Nov. 29, 2008
DELICIOUS!!! I made this recipe exactly as it is written and it was wonderful. It makes a light and fluffy pancake that is as good, if not better than what you get when you order pancakes out. We will be using this recipe every time we make pancakes.

Slow Cooker Salisbury Steak

Reviewed: Oct. 31, 2010
Easy and delicious!!!! I modified this slightly. I used one can of cream of mushroom soup and one can of golden mushroom soup. I also added one can of sliced mushrooms and 1 small diced onion, which I sauteed in the pan with a little more oil after I browned the meat. This is a great meal that can be served to company!

Baked Teriyaki Chicken

I made this recipe exactly as written and it was very good! I doubled the recipe so that I had enough sauce to marinade the chicken with throughout the baking process.

Roasted Vegetable Orzo

Reviewed: Sep. 20, 2008
Delicious!!! I made this for a dinner party and everyone raved about it! My guests each had 2 or more helpings! The only thing that I changed was that I added about 3/4 cup of parmesan cheese instead of 2 Tablespoons and I seasoned it liberally with sea salt and pepper. Otherwise, it is wonderful just as it is!

Kellogg's® Chocolate Scotcheroos

Reviewed: Nov. 16, 2007
I have always made this recipe using Special K cereal instead of the rice krispies. These bars are a hit whenever I make them. Everyone loves them! They're easy and quick to make and great to make in the summer because you don't have to turn the oven on.

I used olive oil instead of butter and I brushed the oil on the pork chops. I also seasoned the pork chops with salt and pepper before rolling in the cracker and cheese mixture. I baked this for 35 minutes in my oven and it was done! Delicious! My husband loved this!

Cranberry Salad I

Reviewed: Nov. 13, 2007
I add the drained pineapple with the sugar and cranberries and then add the marshmallows and let this sit overnight. Also, I do not add the whipped cream until right before serving this dish. Cool Whip is also good to use in place of whipped cream if you're trying to watch the fat grams. This is beautiful served in a crystal bowl.

Delicious! Very easy to make and extremely moist! I added 1/2 teaspoon of banana extract and make sure you sift the dry ingredients. I baked it between 50-60 minutes in my oven and it turned out perfect! I will make this my banana bread recipe to use from now on!

Garlic Top Sirloin Pot Roast

This is delicious! I did season the meat and vegetables with Johnny's Seasoning Salt (No MSG) in addition to the salt, pepper and paprika. Also, I used consomme instead of beef broth and the flavor was ever better! My husband loves when I make this for dinner!

Orange Cake

Reviewed: Jun. 18, 2007
Everyone loves this cake! It is so moist. I use orange extract in place of the lemon extract and I also refrigerate the cake and serve it cold. I usually put an orange glaze on this cake, but have also just garnished it with a little whipped cream on the side. Delicous!
