Whenever I make this, I always make sure to use frozen blueberries instead of fresh.

Delicious! We cooked the potato mixture on the grill, which added a really nice flavor to an already tasty dish. We will make this again.

Sherry Apple Pork Chops

Reviewed: Sep. 24, 2011
DELICIOUS!!! I followed the recipe exactly and it turned out great! I seasoned the pork chops with salt and pepper while browning them in a little olive oil. I also used Granny Smith apples and they baked for a total of 50 minutes. A wonderful dish for autumn and definitely can be served to company!

Mini Cheesecakes

Reviewed: Sep. 9, 2011
Easy and delicious! I followed the recipe exactly with one exception and that was instead of crushing the vanilla wafer, I just placed it top down in the paper wrapper. I also used a pastry bag to fill the cream cheese filling. Much easier than using a spoon.

Taco Pasta Salad

Delicious and easy recipe! I made this recipe, exactly as written (I used the Taco Bell taco seasoning), and it was a hit! Everyone loved it! A nice change of pace from the traditional potato and macaroni salads.

Beer Can Chicken

Reviewed: Aug. 31, 2011
This is an easy and fool proof way to cook chicken! Before seasoning the outside of the chicken, I always brush olive oil on the skin, then liberally shake on salt, pepper and seasoning salt (Johnny's Seasoning Salt w/o MSG). Once you put the bird on top of the beer can/stand, make sure you tie string around chicken to keep the wings down and insert a bunched up piece of foil in the neck cavity so the heat doesn't escape during cooking. That's it! This way of cooking chicken gives you moist chicken every time! One of our favorite ways to cook chicken on the grill!

I make this quite often only I use Special K cereal and one cup of chocolate chips and one cup of butterscotch chips. This is a great dish to make in the summer, as you don't have to turn the oven on.

Slow-Cooked Carolina Beef Brisket

Reviewed: Dec. 14, 2010
I added 1/4 cup of honey and 1/3 cup of brown sugar. I also cut the molasses down to 1/4 cup. I cooked for a total of 8 hours on low in my slow cooker. This was very good and very tender. I will definitely make this again.

Slow Cooker Salisbury Steak

Reviewed: Oct. 31, 2010
Easy and delicious!!!! I modified this slightly. I used one can of cream of mushroom soup and one can of golden mushroom soup. I also added one can of sliced mushrooms and 1 small diced onion, which I sauteed in the pan with a little more oil after I browned the meat. This is a great meal that can be served to company!

Slumgullion

Reviewed: May 20, 2010
I grew up eating Slumgullion. It is quick and easy to make and delicious! The only difference is that in place of the tomato sauce and stewed tomatoes, I add one can of tomato soup, one soup can of water and 1 tablespoon of tomato paste to thicken it up.

Bacon-Wrapped Asparagus

Reviewed: Apr. 16, 2010
I make this often and it is best when made on the grill. I always marinade the asparagus first in a ziplock bag with a little olive oil, lemon zest, salt and pepper for a couple of hours and then right before cooking, I wrap 4-5 asparagus spears with one strip of bacon and then cook them on the grill. Easy, makes a wonderful presentation when serving and delicious!

Day-After-Thanksgiving Turkey Carcass Soup

Reviewed: Dec. 29, 2008
DELICIOUS!!! I used more water than chicken broth, so I added a couple of heaping tablespoons of chicken boullion granules. I also used orzo pasta instead of rice, which made it more stew-like in it's consistency. Serve with warm sour dough bread, it's wonderful on a cold, winter day. I will make this again.

This is a traditional dish that I make every Thanksgiving and Christmas. I used Cream of Celery soup instead of Cream of Mushroom and I use Worstechire Sauce instead of Soy Sauce. I also used canned green beans.

DELICIOUS!!! I made this recipe exactly as it is written and it was wonderful. It makes a light and fluffy pancake that is as good, if not better than what you get when you order pancakes out. We will be using this recipe every time we make pancakes.

I made this recipe exactly as written and it was very good! I doubled the recipe so that I had enough sauce to marinade the chicken with throughout the baking process.
