Ginger-Lime Chicken with Coconut Rice

This dish was fantastic. I love the coconut rice, although next time I will add a little more sugar. I had it with cilantro on top and extra coconut. I think the amount of lime was perfect. I served it with a side of snow peas in garlic and a bit of red pepper.

Rich Chocolate Frosting

This recipe is exactly what I think of when I want chocolate frosting. I halved the recipe as well and had PLENTY. It was nice and thick and easy to work with. I added some orange zest and it was fantastic!

Goat Cheese and Spinach Turkey Burgers

This recipe is very good and easy, although a bit bland. Add extra spices (of the middle eastern variety) or load up on the chutney. Yum!

Grilled Sausages with Caramelized Onions and Apples

This was unusual and good! I served it over mashed potatoes, and they went really well together. I thought it needed a little more vinegar, and I also wouldn't have used as much sugar in it. Don't be afraid to leave the onions in there a LONG time-it really adds to the flavor that may otherwise be a bit bland. And drink a beer with it, preferably a porter or a stout!

Chilled Noodles with Tahini Dressing

I liked this recipe, but found it was somewhat bland as well. There were enough wet ingredients, but I still added tons more lemon and some soy sauce. Red peppers and green onion really added to it and gave it nice textures.

Phyllo-Wrapped Halibut Fillets with Lemon Scallion Sauce

I make this recipe almost every time I have halibut. It is so good! It is also very easy, and it impresses your guests. After the first time, I began adding more and more dill-the flavor is so nice. I think I probably ended up with 1.5 tsp. per packet!
