Broiled Tilapia Parmesan

Reviewed: Nov. 8, 2008
My husband LOVES this. I've made it several times and each time he raves about it. Tonight I made it with salmon. The cooking time was longer, but it was just as good. Next time with salmon, I will probably bake the salmon for about 10 minutes at 350 before broiling to avoid drying out.

They do take forever to make since you can only do one layer at a time...but my family loved them.

Amazing Ribs

Reviewed: Jun. 18, 2011
My entire family said that these were the best they ever had. I skipped the boiling and grilling (too lazy)and put them in a 300 degree oven for 4-5 hours. They fell away from the bone.

Sooooooooooo good. I omitted the raisins since we don't like raisins, but otherwise I followed the recipe exactly. They were wonderful!

Tres Leches (Milk Cake)

Reviewed: Jun. 18, 2011
This was amazing! The only thing I did differently was adjust the baking powder for high altitude (3/4 tsp) and I also added a tsp of coconut milk powder. I topped it with fresh strawberries. My family couldn't get enough.

Strawberry Oatmeal Breakfast Smoothie

Reviewed: May 11, 2009
Very yummy, though I made a couple of changes. I used regular milk and a 1/2 C of Vanilla yogurt. I used an artificial sweetener instead of sugar and omitted the vanilla and banana (I didn't have one). I LOVED the oatmeal in this! It covers up the seeds from the strawberries and makes it so filling!

Monkey Bread I

Reviewed: Nov. 28, 2008
I live at altitude, so it took a lot longer to cook than the recipe states. And it made a heck of a mess in my oven, so next time I will put something underneath.

Awesome Slow Cooker Pot Roast

Reviewed: Nov. 8, 2008
My husband hates pot roast, but LOVED this recipe. A couple of things I did differently only because it's what I had. I used 1 can COM and 1 can Cream of Celery. I also used 1/2 water and 1/2 beef boullion. Soooooo tender and soooo yummy!

Magic Cookie Bars I

Reviewed: Jul. 16, 2011
I used these tips from another reviewer: Tips - Mix the margarine/butter and graham cracker crumbs together to make a firmer "crust". (My family also melts the margarine in the pan in the oven.) - Pour the condensed milk on the graham cracker crumbs BEFORE adding the other ingredients. It seems to make everything stick together better and it makes it so much more presentable! - Use more than 1 cup of chocolate chips.
