To Die For Blueberry Muffins

I usually make the Best of the best blueberry muffin recipe but decided to try this one. The batter is very thick which I found different but the muffins turned out great. They are more of a dense muffin. I liked the streusel topping. I got 6 large muffins out of the recipe. Mine easily came out of the pan no issues with them falling apart. Some changes I made: used only whole wheat flour, cut the streusel topping in half, added 1/2 tsp vanilla, used brown sugar for topping and used buttermilk. I baked mine for 24 mins at 400. I will definitely use this recipe again.

Turkey in a Smoker

I just used this recipe today to make my Thanksgiving turkey. It turned out awesome! I smoked in on my Traeger for 5 hours at 250 degrees and then at 325 degrees for about 1 1/2 hours until it reached an internal temperature of about 170 degrees. I used 2 cans of Pepsi and I used the Traeger Pork and Poultry Seasoning instead of seasoning salt. I used 2 garlic cloves cut up instead of the garlic powder. I basted the turkey every hour and I let it sit for about 20 minutes wrapped in tinfoil before we sliced it. It was soooo yummy!!!

Fluffy Pancakes

This is a great recipe for pancakes! Will definitely be making these again! The only thing I changed was adding a teaspoon of vanilla to the wet mixture.

Chicken and Broccoli Alfredo

I am rating this only 4 stars cause I had to make some changes cause I thought it would be a little bland as is. Really great basic recipe though! I doubled it cause I had 2 pounds of chicken breast. I didn't double the amount of butter though, I still only used 2 tbsp. I used around 2 1/2 cups of fresh broccoli, added a can of cream of chicken soup and used grated mozza cheese instead of parmesan cheese cause my husband isn't that fond of it. I omitted the pepper but I added around 1/4 tsp. of salt and 1/2 tsp of club house lemon herb seasoning to the chicken while it was cooking. After the chicken was browned I stirred in around 1/4 cup of chopped onion and 2 crushed garlic cloves and cooked it for a few minutes. My whole family really liked it. Will definitely make it again.

Ooey-Gooey Cinnamon Buns

OMG, these are absolutely the best tasting cinnamon buns. The only thing I changed in the recipe is that I left out the pecans. They were delicious! I used the cinnamon bun icing recipe from the website. I cut it in half though and I had leftover icing. Will definitely make these again!! Thanks for the great recipe!

Award Winning Soft Chocolate Chip Cookies

I just finished baking these cookies. I was a little leery about using the pudding mix but they turned out awesome!! I halved the recipe and I'm glad I did because I think it would have been hard to mix everything in my mixer. I have a Kitchenaid mixer and I blended the butter (room temperature) and the sugars first, then added 1 egg at a time and then the vanilla. I slowly mixed in the pudding mix and then I slowly added in the flour mixture. Like another reviewer I also sifted in 1 tsp. of baking powder and 1/2 tsp salt to the flour mixture. I mixed in the choc. chips at the end with a wooden spoon. They took exactly 12 minutes to cook. Will definitely use this recipe again! One other thing to mention is that I had let my eggs sit out for about 15 minutes before I added them.

Banana Muffins II

This is a really great recipe. I made these last night. I made a few changes - used 1/4 c. white sugar and 1/2 c. br. sugar, added 1 tsp. vanilla, 1/2 tsp. cinnamon and 1/2 c. choc. chips. I filled extra large muffin tins about 1/2 way and I got 8 muffins. They took 24 min. to bake. I sprayed the tins with Pam and they came out great!! Will definitely use this recipe again.
