Parsley Red Potatoes

i really love this recipe, whenever i come home my mom asks me to make this :) a good tip is to boil the red potatoes in an iron skillet if u have one, it takes more time, but somehow it makes them taste so much more tender and delicious!

Scrambled Eggs, Tomato, Mozzarella and Basil Sandwich

This recipe was soo heavenly!!! I guess its just a choice of taste, because I really loved the combination of eggs, tomatoes, and basil. It was really easy to make as well, I just scrambled eggs, cut one tomato, and used some fresh basil leaves from my garden. Then i grilled these with shredded mozzarella cheese on whole wheat bread using olive oil. It was perfect for a late brunch!

Strawberry Muffins

We made this this morning because we had a lot of extra strawberries. We followed the recommendation of a reviewer and added 1/2 teaspoon vanilla, 1/2 teaspoon cinnamon and 1/4 cup brown sugar. We also added 2 cups of fresh chopped strawberries! It was extremely easy to make with little mess. They turned out pretty good, a little sugary and it was a little hard to taste the strawberries with all the other ingredients overwhelming it. This recipe is pretty yummy and fast to make (there's only a few left now!) but nothing to go 'wow' about. Good if you're hungry and you want a quick breakfast!

Strawberry Cake from Scratch

My sister and I made this cake the day before Easter Sunday and let it sit in the refrigerator until we served it for dessert... it was WONDERFUL!!! We took three recommendations from reviews that really helped the strawberry cake to turn out great! 1~ We seperated the egg whites and yolks and whipped the egg whites and then added them in to the mixture. 2~ Also we sifted the flour and then after sifting measured it again. 3~ We spread strawberry puree in between the two cake layers along with icing to make them stick together well. (mmmmm!!!:D)Furthermore we made the strawberry puree by blending clean, cut strawberries together in the blender which made a really fresh puree. As a finishing touch, after icing the entire cake with vanilla icing, we placed extra sliced strawberries on the top of the cake! The cake was BIG hit but make sure to make room in the refrigerator for leftovers!
