Strawberry Rhubarb Cobbler

Reviewed: Jul. 4, 2015
Very good. My husband and I love this dessert. I sometimes reduce the rhubarb and add strawberries. I also have a problem with flour not being enough to thicken the berries, so I use Tapioca.

Ethiopian Cabbage Dish

Reviewed: Apr. 11, 2015
This dish is a wonderful way to cook cabbage. Definitely double the turmeric. I do not cook with cabbage a lot, but this will get made again and again.

Three-Ingredient Baked Chicken Breasts

Reviewed: Feb. 22, 2015
Worked very well, easy and the chicken was very moist. Will definitely do again - it will be fun to experiment with the spices. Thank you.

Israeli Moroccan Couscous

Reviewed: Nov. 30, 2014
Very good. It is a bit thin with the tomato sauce. I also put more spices in, but that is a matter of personal taste.

Seven Layer Dip II

Reviewed: Nov. 6, 2010
This is a favorite whenever I take it to a gathering. It is also very good if pre-made guacamole is used instead of making it from scratch. Sometimes I substitute a little salsa for the roma/plum tomatoes. It is always a hit.

The South Mission Mango

Reviewed: Jul. 9, 2003
This is a wonderful refreshing drink. Instead of fresh mango, we used canned mango slices. This avoid the challenge of finding fresh mangos, allowing time for them to ripen and then going through the fun of peeling and slicing the fruit.

Asian Salmon

Reviewed: Feb. 23, 2003
This was a wonderful dish, we doubled the sauce ingredients - except the olive oil and it was delicious.

Dill Sauce

Reviewed: May 12, 2002
Excellent. Very quick and tasty with fish and vegetables. We used low fat sour cream and I added just a touch of sugar. We served it on Mother's Day with grilled salmon, she loved it!

Candied Sweet Potatoes

Reviewed: Dec. 26, 2001
This was very good - easy and delicious. The orange juice adds a wonderful taste - if you have any doubts, add a little, taste it and decide if you want to add more. I also sliced the potatoes and boiled them with the skin on. After they were tender, I drained the water, let them cool and then cubed the potatoe slices. It is easier to cut cooked sweet potatoes then raw ones.

Quick and Easy Tuna Casserole

Reviewed: Oct. 28, 2001
This recipe was very easy and tasty. Instead of american cheese, I sliced up cheddar cheese. I also added a small can of mushrooms.

Chicken or Turkey Tetrazzini Deluxe

Reviewed: Aug. 19, 2001
I, also, did not include the water and it was still runny after cooking. However, it does thicken as it stands. I probably would not add the peas next time as their taste is a little too distinctive for turkey tetrazini. Watch out for the salt, the soup is already salty - a little extra salt is all you need.

I used a pre-made pie shell, which worked well. Everyone, including my husband loved it.

Antipasto Pasta Salad

Reviewed: Jan. 15, 2001
This does take a little time to prepare, but it is delicious. I took it to a party and everyone loved it. I used mozarella cheese (cubed) instead of asiago and I have been told that cheddar cheese (cubed) works well.

German Apple Pancake

Reviewed: Dec. 25, 2000
This is very good, it is quite easy to make, it looks very nice and it taste delicious. My husband loved it. Using an apple instead of apple pie filling is the best way to make this recipe. Enjoy.
