Easy Sausage Strata

Reviewed: Feb. 25, 2008
Okay maybe I'm not a Strata person but this turned out horrible. The eggs would not cook all the way and when I left it in longer..everything burnt!! It might have been me and not the recipe..don't know!

Whoopie Pies IV

Reviewed: Feb. 25, 2008
I gave it four stars for the cake part but the creme was filled with way too much shortening. I made my own creme filling and after that they were great. I recommend the cake part for sure.

Hershey's ® 'Perfectly Chocolate' Chocolate Cake

Reviewed: Feb. 25, 2008
This cake is good but it baked a little different than all the cakes I have ever baked. I did use hot coffee in place of the hot water..that might have something to do with it. The taste is great and my grandson called it brownies so it is nice and moist.

Chewy Chocolate Chip Oatmeal Cookies

Reviewed: Feb. 25, 2008
This recipe holds true to it's name CHEWY! I used one of my foodies advice and used all brown sugar and 1 tsp baking soda. My hubby requested that I make oatmeal cookies and me not being an oatmeal lover tried this. He loved them!!! I will be making these again. Also don't bake them any longer then it says..that gives it the chewy texture.

Rustic Multi-Grain Bread

Love it..Love it!! Didn't change a thing. I love this bread toasted with peanut butter..so good!! It is a little on the sweet side so if you don't like sweet bread..cut back on the sugar a little.

Buttery Soft Pretzels

Reviewed: Feb. 7, 2008
WOW!! I didn't think I could make these but I DID!! I will be making them again tomorrow for a gift basket. I did mix whole wheat flour with the regular flour other than that I did just as recipe said. FANTASTIC!!! 6 with salt and 6 with cinnamon/sugar. I used the idea of the honey butter on the cinnamon ones..YUMMY!!!
