Burrito Pie

Reviewed: Aug. 15, 2010
OK, I made this just as it says too. My family LOVED it & so did I. It does make a big batch so hope you like left overs or put some in the freezer for another night. I have seen here where everyone changed it around & never tried it the way it is written & then based their review on that. That is not a true rating as it is now different! I did just as it said. It was fast & easy & was very yummy but a little spicy for the younger kids...

Turkey Tetrazzini II

Reviewed: Nov. 30, 2008
We loved this dish... I was all out of Turkey so I used chicken and it was great. I cut it in half just to try it but next time I will make the full amount. Hubby says it would be good if we used shrimp. I will try it for him but I am not much of a Sea food person unless it is deep fried LOL!!! A keeper for use!!!

These are so good I cannot find the words for it. My youngest son loved them so much he took half to school to share with friends at lunch then tried to eat the rest on his own LOL... This will be a keeper for my family! Thank you very much...

Super Easy Chicken Fingers

Reviewed: Oct. 31, 2008
Ihave been making something like this for my grandkids for some time now. I do not bake mine as it is soggy that way. I deep fry them in a pan. Only takes a couple min's and the kids love them. They say they are better then McDonalds Chicken nuggets. I also find them good...

Great Garlic Bread

Reviewed: Sep. 23, 2008
I have used this for over a year & I no longer buy Garlic Bread at the store... Oh, you must use FRESH GARLIC!!! It only takes a min to mince it up and so werth it... I keep a mixture of the butter on hand at all times. I use it on homemade Pizza crust or if I want a fast garlic bread I toast up a burger bun & brush it on yummy!!! You can use it on so may things.....

Vodka Slush

Reviewed: Sep. 20, 2008
Ok, I scaled it down on here for 10 instead of 20. Funny me forgot that I did that & added the whole 7 cups of water and 2 cups cold water. I have to say, it still was very good. Not to strong & it tasted great that way to everone here tonight LOL... I was wondering why it made so much. Next time I will make it the right way & see which way I like it best LOL...

Summer Soup of Butternut and Corn

Reviewed: Sep. 18, 2008
I really want to thank you "The Butterfly" for this!!! I just finished making it!!! We love it so much! Most Squash soups want you to add cinnamon or sugars, it just does not taste good to me, and I almost gave up on thinking I would like Squash soup. I did do a couple things different because I did not have everything stated. I used 1 can Chicken Stock and then ½ a can of water. I doubled the garlic, as we love garlic. I thought it needed to be thicker so I cooked a large potato in the microwave, then cut it up & added it to the soup. That did the trick. Next time I will know to add it with the squash. Oh, I did add some fresh ground sea salt that hit the spot for us. I mashed everything with a potato masher. I did not add to the blender to make it smooth, as after tasting it we liked the texture of how it turned out. It was great as it was & I was not going to add the Nutmeg & Yogurt (I used Sour Cream as I hate Yogurt) but I decided to try a small amount in a bowl to see how it would taste. Well, needles to say but WOW!!! I did not think this could get any better but I was so wrong!!! It tied all the flavors together and it was so AWSOME!!! Again, THANK YOU!!! THIS IS 10 STARS FOR US!

Reviewed: Sep. 17, 2008
I am not sure with this one. They taste ok but not as well as others have stated. I guess they are good for a lite cookie but are sort of cake/pancake like. I do not think I will make again. I will wait to see what the hubby & grandkids say. I did post a photo of my cookies they looked great…

World's Best Lasagna

Reviewed: Sep. 17, 2008
I have not made this yet but am looking forward to doing that soon. I do know that when I make this I will be using Cottage Cheese instead of Ricotta Cheese. I have never liked Ricotta so the next best thing is Cottage Cheese… I will rate when I have made this in a few weeks. I am also trying to see if there is one close to or better then mine… It made me rate it now so I will say 4 for now as it looks to be great... UPDATE: I just made this tonight & it was good but I would not say it is the Worlds Best! It took so long to make & all I got was it is good Hun/Mom... So for only it is good I will not make again as they all asked when I was going to make mine as they like it better. I give this a 3 star as it takes to long & was not as good as mine!!! Mine is 5 star in my house still LOL!!! But thanks it was fun trying it out!

I just made these and they are very good & very easy to make. It did take longer to cook then stated but that is ok. It was just very hard to wait longer for them is all, as I love P.B. Cookies. They are not like my mom’s who's will always be 5 stars for me but for a fast P.B. Cookie they are awesome and come in with 4 stars!!! I will be making these with my grandkids as this is so easy little kids can do it!!! So happy I found these!!!

Grilled Sausage with Potatoes and Green Beans

Reviewed: Sep. 17, 2008
I rated this 5 stars as it is great as it is! I have over time been adjusting it to my families taste. I always add corn for texture and color. I also add broccoli, carrots & cauliflower to the mixture… If I have fresh I use those but if not frozen works just as well but do not add any water, it will have enough. I also use EVOO instead of Vegetable as this I thinks taste MUCH better and I do not use any butter. I put it all in a large bowel to mix well with some salt, pepper, garlic powder and Italian seasoning, if it taste good cold it will taste good hot… I bake mine in the oven at 450 for about 20 min’s with a sprayed foil cover so it wont get veggies stuck to it. Then I remove the cover and cook for about 10 min’s or until all veggies are done. In the summer when it is to hot to cook in the house I place the pan on a med-high heat on the grill and cook almost as long… This is the bomb in my house now! It is an all in one meal that EVERYONE loves! I never have left over’s and this makes much more then four servings, I would say like six. Tip: If using frozen veggies I add 1 whole bag of vegetable melody (Broccoli, cauliflower & carrots), half bag of beans and a 1/3 a bag of corn. I have also been known to throw in different kids of squash in it also. Don’t forget the potatoes I use two large or 4 small and leave the skin on YUMMY-YUMMY!!! Use your imagination & it will turn out great!

Alfredo Sauce

Reviewed: Sep. 16, 2008
OMG!!! I cannot say enough about this recipe! If I could give it more stars, I would… I doubled the amounts and added 4 diced Chicken Breast that I cooked in 2 Tablespoons EVOO and then added ½ Onion, 2 small garlic cloves & 1 ½ teaspoons Italian seasoning & cooked until no more pink. I made 1 lb of noodle but I think that was just a little too much so next time I will add less noodles or make more sauce… I like that it is a much lighter flavor then the stuff in the stores and that I can add more or less depending to how I feel that day… Thank you for this it is a keeper!!!! ;0)

Chicken Puffs

Reviewed: Sep. 16, 2008
My family loved these & so did I. Only 2 things that bothered me. 1. They take a long time to make and 2. they don't keep well. Only make what you can eat as they will be soggy the next day but still tast good if you like soggy... Update: I have now made these a few time per my Ug's request and it is not as hard to make as I first thought and they were less soggy the next day. My Ug takes them with him to work and has told almost everyone there about them. I have had to send a few copies of this with him for his buddies. So, he has asked me to up it to a 5 star so for him I will do this for him but for me it is still a 4 star...
