wonderful! I used my coffee grinder to grind up the rice before soaking because my blender is broken and the food processor didn't do the trick. It worked great. Also I made a syrup of the last cup of water, sugar, cinnamon and cinnamon sticks and then added it to the rice water. It seemed to help the sugar and cinnamon mix better that way. Oh and don't throw out the rice. It's perfect for Creamy Rice pudding (recipe on this site)

Fasoliyyeh Bi Z-Zayt (Syrian Green Beans with Olive Oil)

This is my favorite way to make green beans now!I cooked mine about 15 minutes, they got a bit browned by the high heat but were delicious! This is the first time I've made green beans that didn't taste rubbery!

Broccoli Cheese Soup V

Creamy Rice Pudding

Heavenly! Don't leave out the raisins! It gives it the extra depth of flavor. I used half and half in place of the milk to make it more special.

Easy Ice Cream Cake

I used whipped topping w/ the Cool Whipped Frosting recipe for this site with chocolate pudding. I left out the candy bar and forgot the fudge topping and it was perfect! I also was able to stack the sandwiches!

Avocado Lime Cheesecake

Turned out great, I skipped the ice cream making part because I don't have one . I just poured it in the shell and froze. it went quick at the party though it tasted more like key lime pie, you couldn't really taste the avocados

Alfajores Argentinean Style

I had to add and extra 1/4 cup butter and an additional egg yolk to make the dough workable. The cookie part is ok but next time I think I will replace it with shortbread.

Japanese Onion Soup

It didn't have the specific taste I expected like I used to have at my favorite Japanese Steak House and my broth turned out kind of murky.Did I need more salt?
