This was a wonderful and easy dish... my only substitution was I used sriracha hot chili sauce as my husband suggested and it worked out great. Love this recipe... Try it, if you haven't:-)

This was very good. My husband says it was too salty, but I didn't think so. And we both agree that it came out very very moist and very easy to make.

This recipe is almost perfect. It was my 2nd time making risotto and the last time I made way too much. I cut the recipe and I still ended up with a lot of left over.

I didn't follow the recipe exactly... I don't really cook that way and it came out wonderful. This recipe is a 'must try'.

Great recipe! Didn't use any sugar at all. Apples vary in sweetness and the apples I used were sweet enough as is. I will be making another batch this weekend:-) My one and only gripe is that I followed the recipe and (minus the sugar) and it yield only 2 pints:-/ 09/30/11: I have updated my rating to 5 stars. I have been making apple butter nearly every weekend since my last post. My mother-in-law suggested I fill my slow cooker to the rim rather than weighing the apples and that has helped me get to my 4 pint yield.

Just cooked up this recipe... and it is worth every star! It's fast and easy AND my son likes it. He's 6 yrs. old and like most kids, he does not like to eat the things that are good for him. Great job and THANK YOU for posting it!

I have made this pie for my family, friends and co-workers. They all say they love it. Ruth's Grandma's Pie Crust makes just enough dough for 2 pies. My Simply Perfect Apple Pie recipe will make enough filling for 2 pies. I will usually make a large pie to take somewhere and a small one to enjoy at home. Enjoy...

My husband made this soup last night and it was very good and hardy. He kicked-up the hot sauce ingredient a few notches making it just right on the level of spice, but it could of used more corn. We will definitely be saving this to our 'Recipe Box'.

Tasty. My family loved it and ate it all up:-) For the walnuts I used the 'Sugar Glazed Walnuts' by Sharon Sisson.

This is a good recipe if you want to do something different with biscuits. Keep in mind that if you use a formed muffin pan (like I just did) to flip the monkey bread out before cooling. The caramelized sugar will harden and make removal from he pan difficult.

I didn't add any sugar - my apples were sweet. I cooked the cider for the 3 plus hours according to the recipe and it turned out watery and under a gallon. Now my cider was fairly clear unlike the photo by Sweetcreations taken 12/04/2009.
