Szechwan Shrimp

Reviewed: Sep. 12, 2013
Awesome! I've been intimidated by Chinese cuisine, but thought I would give this a try. It was quick, easy, and totally satisfying. We added broccoli with the onions and garlic. It was wonderful. You do need to increase the liquid if you add vegetables.we also used fresh ginger and it added a nice flavor.

Homemade Manti (Traditional Turkish Dumplings)

Reviewed: Sep. 22, 2009
Yum! This was delicious! I added a little salt to the yogurt, but the spice from the red pepper flakes was a nice touch.

I loved this simple and delicious dish. I'm glad to find a squash recipe that is not sweet, but buttery, garlicky, and fabulous! Don't change a thing!

Torsk

Reviewed: May 30, 2008
Wow! So few ingredients to make a delicious meal. I was surprised at how the sugar/salt poaching gave cod a delicate sweet flavor...I did reduce the sugar to a half a cup. It truly did have the texture and flavor of lobster. What a great find.

Pretty good! Purists may scoff at the title, but I enjoyed using cube steak in a new way. Thanks for the recipe!

Orange Drop Cookies II

Reviewed: Dec. 9, 2007
A delicious subtle flavor! Reading the reviews, I added a 1/2 cup flour and more orange peel to liven the flavor. I only baked for 8 minutes exactly. They were perfect: soft inside with crispy bottoms.

Lobster Tails Steamed in Beer

Reviewed: Jul. 21, 2007
This was fantastic. I used a dark beer and it had no strong flavor on the lobster. I also added the crushed garlic in the beer. It had a wonderful moist flavor in a very short time! I ate mine with lemon juice and butter.

Banana-Nut Chip Bread

Reviewed: Jun. 24, 2007
Out of desperation, I used only one egg instead of three and baked a beautiful chocolate chip banana bread with walnuts.

Mushroom Cube Steaks

Reviewed: Apr. 16, 2007
I liked the mustard and Worstershire together, but I also marinated the steaks first with that mixture and then cooked them. I also added some red wine to deglaze the pan after the mushrooms. It added a nice flavor.
