Strawberry Whipped Sensation

Reviewed: Apr. 17, 2009
Love, love, love!!! I used a 9" round pan so I doubled the oreo's crumble on the bottom, but you can never have to many oreo's!

Strawberry Bread

I used whole wheat flour instead of regular, and added an extra cup of strawberries and it was wonderful!

Hamburger Buns

Reviewed: Apr. 17, 2009
This recipes was great! I especially loved the slightly sweet flavor. The key to this recipe is understanding how to use yeast. Make sure that the liquids you are adding the yeast to are warm. Let stand for 5 minutes- the yeast should have bubbled/left a foam on top of the liquid. If not- start over. After you form the rolls, cover them with a towel and put in a warm oven to rise. Don't just leave it uncovered on the counter, it will take forever to rise.

Pumpkin Apple Streusel Muffins

Reviewed: Nov. 1, 2008
These muffins are wonderful! I used fresh pumpkin that I baked earlier in the day, and the muffins had a very healthy taste to them (although I'm sure they aren't). The recipe made 22 medium sized muffins.

Curried Pumpkin Soup

Reviewed: Nov. 1, 2008
I agree with the people that say there is something missing. I love the curry and the apple. I think maybe it would be better with a cream base, rather than a broth base? I'm not really sure.

Spiced Pumpkin Seeds

Reviewed: Oct. 29, 2008
This was a really good recipe, but there were a few changes that I would make next time. I pulled them out of the oven at 55 minutes, I think I would have taken them out even earlier. They got a little to "roasted". Also, I love salt, but I think I would have taken out the plain salt, and doubled the garlic salt in this recipe for a little more flavor and a little less saltiness.

Curried Hummus

Reviewed: May 30, 2007
This recipe was very good. I didn't use the suggestion to use less water and the hummus turned out a little runny. I'm hoping that it will thinken a little after sitting for a while.

Black Bean Hummus

This recipe is very good. I didn't have any tahini, I used toasted sesame seeds instead and it turned out very nicely.

Coconut Tilapia with Apricot Dipping Sauce

Reviewed: May 30, 2007
This was amazing!! I used 1 egg instead of the egg substitute and baked the fish, turning once, instead of frying. This made the fist a lot healthier and it tasted great!!

These were amazing! Followed the recipe exactly and they were just great! Made 12 muffins instead of 10. I will definitely make these again!

Thai Cashew Chicken

Reviewed: May 29, 2007
I loved this one!! I didn't think that it was too salty and neither did my husband (usually I like salty food and he doesn't). I added a little extra ginger because I love it so much. Next time I think that I'll add fresh sprouts, grated carrot and broccolli since this recipe was lacking in the vegetable department.

French Beef Stew

I loved this recipe. I didn't think that the mustard was overwhelming, in fact I added a little extra. I also used pork instead of beef. It was great.

Curried Salmon Bake

Reviewed: May 25, 2007
I really loved this recipe. Although, I doubled the curry paste, if not tripled (I didn't keep track). It was so spicy that we were sweating. And the leftover sauce was great on rice.

Beth's Spicy Oatmeal Raisin Cookies

Reviewed: May 16, 2007
These cookies were awesome. I added 1/2 tsp nutmeg, and I only had 1/2 cup raisins so I added 1 cup of shredded coconut. Even using rounded teaspoons this recipe made 87 cookies- thats a whole lot more than 3 dozen!

Chocolate Chip Orange Zucchini Bread

Reviewed: May 16, 2007
This was so good!! Somehow the orange didn't make it home from the store, but the bread was great without it. Took about 60 minutes to bake in two pans instead of 50 minutes.

Mustard Crusted Tilapia

Reviewed: May 16, 2007
This one was really good. Although, I didn't like how pastelike the topping was, but my husband really loved the paste- so if you like a paste rather than a sauce or marinade- this one's for you!

Delicious Peanut Butter Cookies

Reviewed: May 11, 2007
This recipe wasn't anything like the peanut butter cookies I usually make. They were really fluffy, for once I had to flatten the dough before baking. I used crunchy peanut butter and added about 1/2 cup Heath Bar chips to the recipe so they had more flavor. But, if you don't like super sweet cookies you should find another addition like plain chocolate chips or nuts.
