Chocolate Bar Fondue

Look no further for your chocolate fondue recipe. SO yummy! Big hit at holiday fondue party. I used guittard milk chocolate chips and a tsp of kahlua instead of the coffee/water. It didn't taste like coffee but it made the chocolate flavor pop. This recipe makes a lot. I cut the recipe in half and it was still a lot for 4 adults and 3 kids.

Mom's Turkey Sausage Patties

This is great turkey sausage! My husband, who never likes ground turkey in anything, thought it was delicious. I probably used 1 3/4 lbs of turkey and the spices as directed. I cooked some up for some breakfast burritos (yummy) and then froze some in patties on a cookie sheet covered with plastic wrap and foil. Once they were frozen i put them in a freezer bag. i cooked some patties this morning straight from the freezer to a lightly buttered skillet. Cooked them on high to sear and then lowered the heat to medium and covered to let it cook inside. SO yummy. This will be my go-to sausage recipe. No more store bought sausage!

Quick Yeast Rolls

So yummy and quick (for a bread). My husband requested i make these more often. They are a little sweet, SO yummy with a little butter. The dough is sticky but its not a problem. Just continue as directed. I used butter b/c i didn't have shortening and they were still awesome.

Special Deviled Eggs

Made these for a party and my guests devoured them. I didn't have sweet relish so i very finely chopped and drained some dill pickles. I used green onions for a more mild onion flavor. Very flavorful deviled eggs and the horseradish was just enough for a kick of flavor w/o making it too spicy. Yum

Basic Flaky Pie Crust

very yummy. I used this in a pumpkin pie for my dad for father's day. He said that it was exactly what pumpkin pie should be. Everyone else loved it too. I didn't have shortening so i used butter instead and if was fabulous!

Actually Delicious Turkey Burgers

YES!!! They actually are good turkey burgers. I made these for a family get together and they were a big hit. Everyone loved them. I quadrupled the recipe and didn't have enough garlic so added a little pinch of garlic powder. I didn't have fresh parsley so used half the called for amount of dried parsley and added some ginger root (about 1 tsp for a single recipe). And just used 2 whole eggs for the quadrupled batch. So yummy.

Dark Chocolate Cake I

I normally don't like chocolate cake but this one is great---moist and flavorful. I took some advice from other reviews and whipped the egg whites and added 1/2 cup sour cream. I frosted it with Sturdy Whipped Cream Frosting from this site. Way yummy and no leftovers!

Sturdy Whipped Cream Frosting

Great frosting. I'll use this all the time. I didn't have almond so just used all vanilla. I wanted it to look chocolaty so i added a couple tablespoons of cocoa. Put it on Dark Chocolate Cake I. Big hit.

This is a great recipe! I use half the soy sauce and cut the meat up into smaller pieces, marinate for 4-8 hours and cook it on the grill

White Chocolate Macadamia Nut Cookies II

This recipe made great cookies. I added toffee bits and they made the cookies to die for. Next time i might add another egg. The dough didn't hold together very well with just one egg.

Angel Hair with Feta and Sun-Dried Tomatoes

My family loves this dish. I modify it a little though. I don't like sun-dried tomatoes so I just throw in some fresh chopped tomatoes. I also substitute the cilantro with basil sometimes, they're both great. And it's SO easy!
