Slow-Cooked Steak Fajitas

This recipe was pretty good. I used rotel for the can of tomatoes, and it added a nice amount of spice. The meat was tender and had good flavor. If I make these again I will probably just saute my veggies in a pan on there own after the meat is done cooking. I put them in the crock pot the last two hours with the meat and I didn't care for the cosistency they turned out. They were ok, but I like them cooked in a pan on the stove top better. I served these fajitas with shredded pepper jack and sour cream on top. We also had best-ever texas caviar on the side with tortilla chips. The two recipes complimented one another nicely.

Slow Cooker Taco Soup

We really enjoyed this soup. We always used another taco soup recipe and love it as well, so we were skeptical about trying a new one, but I think this is my new favorite. We topped our soup with sour cream, crushed tortilla chips, and shredded cheese.

Best-Ever Texas Caviar

Soooo good! I took this dish to a party and people kept talking about how good it was. It has a nice fresh taste. I cut the recipe in half for a group of about 20, and it was still plenty! I was sad when we ran out of chips.

Buffalo Style Chicken Pizza

Really good. I used a fraction of the ranch dressing called for though after reading other reviews. It didn't taste as "buffalo" as I thought it would, but the taste is great. Maybe next time I'll add a little more buffalo sauce.

Chicken and Veggie Hand Pies

Pretty good. Simple. It tasted about as I expected it to. I think it could use a little more cream cheese. Easy to make. It's not one of my favorites, but I will probably end up making it again.

Red Skinned Potato Salad

I didn't think this was that good. I thought it sounded really good. I don't know. The bacon kind of took away from the pototo salad flavor, and I'm all for something a little different but I just didn't think the flavors meshed well together. I won't be making this again.

Cajun Chicken

This is a nice kick of spice for chicken. We've tried it on boneless breasts as well as on chicken wings. It's good by itself and really good with bbq sauce. It makes the bbq sauce like a spicy bbq.

Grilled Potatoes and Onion

These are good! I was wondering about the flavor possibly being bland, but it wasn't! The onion does wonders. I was also concerned that potatoes wouldn't get soft enough, because I have tried several similar recipes in the oven and they never get done. They turned out perfect in 30 min on med heat. Very soft and Yummy. My husband and I ate them all up!

Justin's Hoosier Daddy Chili

This is the best chili I've ever tasted. I didn't really like chili that much until I had this at my mom's house. I had to get the recipe from her. It's not too obvious from the ingredients, but this chili does have quite a kick to it, which I love! Give this chili a try, even if the ingredients do seem a little odd.

Rosemary Ranch Chicken Kabobs

Yumm! Probably the best chicken recipe I've ever made. Something about this recipe keeps the chicken so moist and flavorful. I made these for a group and received compliments from everbody. I will for sure be making these again. I added red & green pepper, red onion, and mushrooms to the kabobs.

Taco Pie

Really good. All of these things are a nice combination. I recommend topping with lettuce and tomatoe. Honestly, it even warms up nicely for leftovers. The chips get a little soft on the secong round but not too bad. I will for sure make this again.

World's Best Lasagna

OMG...Not only was this the best lasagna I've ever tasted,(including italian restaurants) this was the best recipe I've ever found period! I usually don't praise recipes this much but this was so good. I read the other reviews but was still not sure b/c I am kind of picky on foods that are home cooked, I'd rather go out to eat most of the time. This was amazing... the sauce..YUMMM My boyfriend loved it as well, he also said it was the best he's ever had. I didn't use fennel seeds, parsley, sausage, parm. cheese or the egg & it still turned out great! I used LEAN ground beef(1.25 lb.), low fat mozz. cheese, fat free cottage cheese, and no salt added tom. sauce. I used 1/2 the sugar & no extra salt I had left over sauce & I'm glad b/c I'll use it soon on any italian dish b/c it will go with anything. I WILL NEVER BUY JARRED SAUCE AGAIN. Thanks for this great recipe.

Chicken Enchilada Casserole II

This casserole was pretty good & I like the fact that there aren't too many ingredients. Definitly use fresh salsa instead of jarred for a better taste. I used less than 1/2 of the cream of chicken soup because that flavor seems to take over if you use too much in my opinion. I used fat free tortillas, fat free sour cream,& mozzerella cheese to make the recipe low fat. I will make again. : )

Low-Fat Macaroni and Cheese

When I was putting this recipe together I was concerned that it wasn't going to be good. I was wrong. It was great & no one could tell it was lower in fat. I used Barilla Plus pasta & all fat free ingredientd to make it a little more healthy. Just remember not to judge this macaroni until you taste the final product.

Six Can Chicken Tortilla Soup

Very good!!! One of the best things about this recipe is how easy it is. I used chicken breasts instead of the canned chicken, much, much better in my opinion. Only thing I would change would be to add SPICE to this recipe to make it a little more flavorful & spicey. Other than that, this recipe is great.

Chicken Enchiladas II

I loved these enchiladas & I usually don't care for too many enchiladas. They are the perfect consistancy. The only thing I would add would be spices to the chicken (cayenne pepper, southwest seas, etc.) to make them have a little more flavor. Other than that GREAT!!
