This is the first time making polenta and I think I really screwed it up. Like others suggested I used chicken stock instead of water reserving 1 cup of stock to mix the cornmeal in. When I poured in the cornmeal misture it almost immediately became thick while stirring. I was afraid to let it cook any longer because I thought it would burn. I poured it in a small pan and let it set up, when I tasted it, it was grainey. I will try and cut it and fry it and see how it turns out.
