First time I've made any candy, or anything close to it. I didn't have any creamer, so I actually used powdered coffee creamer with water. It came out great! I used it to drizzle on cappucino from my new expresso maker. MmmmM!

Beef and Pepper Pie

I used a frozen stir-fry mix of onions, green red and yellow peppers--still added another onion per the recipe though. Came out great! I had to adjust the liquid level per my ingredients, but was perfect in the end.

Cabbage Patch Stew

Smelled so good I barely made it through the cooking time. I cheated and had a bowl half-way through when the cabbage and bell pepper was still crunchy. =) Mmm serve it with bread.

Award Winning Soft Chocolate Chip Cookies

Not quite as chewy as the original tollhouse recipe, I don't think. It may have been my new oven though. Anyways, the family liked them.

Sauerkraut Soup II

I felt like making something German today, New Years Eve. I actually am German, but my family has been very americanized (is that a word? :) so I wanted something my ancesters might have eaten. I chose this recipe because it looked easy. The soup turned out great! It was very good tasting, easy to make and I would definitely make it again. In fact, I'll probably keep ingredients on hand for it.
