About this Cook
I'm a father of 4 great kids who decided that his kids wouldn't grow up eating bland food all of the time. I love to see the food disappear when I make something that my family hasn't had before and they all love it (especially the picky ones!).
My favorite things to cook
I love to cook Indian food and Grill Steaks.
My cooking triumphs
Scallopini Del Polo using the Macaroni Grill recipe. A family favorite that has everyone asking for more.
My cooking tragedies
Anything that doesn't get totally devoured at the initial sitting!

Peppered Shrimp Alfredo
I made this exactly as the recipe outlined, and I was thrilled!! Next time I will try some of the variations suggested by other reviewers but for the first time it was great. This dish is one of those rare treats that is actually better the second day as left-overs (if there are any).

Roquefort Pear Salad
When my wife saw me downloading this recipe she said she was going to eat out the night I made it (not a pear fan at all). I convinced her to stay, and she came back for seconds. My son who loves blue cheese but hates salad came back for seconds as well. When we were finished my wife said, "This is the salad we will take when we are asked to bring a salad!" 'nuff said...this is a great recipe.

Artichoke and Sun-dried Tomato Chicken
I enjoyed this recipe more than I thought I would. I followed the suggestions of several other reviewers and added chicken broth and garlic to the cubed chicken while browning it. I also used Italian Stewed tomato's rather than plain diced tomatoes. We ate it over Angel Hair Pasta and it tasted pretty decent. I also sprinkled some pecorino romano cheese over the top. Will make it again with the modifications listed above.
