After-Thanksgiving Turkey Soup

Reviewed: Nov. 29, 2009
I made this soup the day after Thanksgiving. I pretty much followed the recipe to the T, except I added frozen peas and corn. The soup was fantastic! Thanks!

World's Best Lasagna

Reviewed: Jul. 6, 2009
This is a fantastic recipe. we had company last night and everyone raved about the delicious lasagna. I did read the reviews and found them extremely helpful. I pretty much followed the recipe but did the following:(1) reduced the salt to 1 tsp; (2) soak the pasta in hot tap water instead of boiling; (3) used extra sausage and ground beef; (4) double the sauce, and (5) made the sauce the night before and let the flavor melt together. My teenage son ate three large pieces and said it was the best lasagna he's ever had. Thanks for sharing the great recipe.

Cranberry Nut Bread I

Reviewed: Jan. 1, 2009
I made this recipe this morning for our New Year's breakfast. I used fresh squeezed OJ and cranberry, and also an OJ glaze. The favor was good, not too sweet, but it didn't knock my socks off. I think I'd either add an additional egg to increase the moisture content.

Banana Banana Bread

Reviewed: Jun. 22, 2008
This is the bet banana bread recipe. I love banana bread and have tried different recipes over the years. When I came across this one and read all the rave reviews, I decided to try it. I did take the advice of other reviewers by adding a splash of vanilla extract, 1 tsp of cinnamon, and brown sugar topping, and baked in 350 degree oven. It took approximately 1 hour, and I checked every 5 minutes after the first hour. After it cools, I slide it and serve it toasted with a side of jam and butter. DELICIOUS! A definite keeper.

Janine's Best Banana Bread

Reviewed: May 20, 2007
I bake a lot of banana breads and this is one of the best ones. I did add a tsp of baking power to the recipe. It turned out moist, delicous and looks great.
