Hot Spinach Dip

This was great. I bought artichokes hoping to make spinach artichoke dip.... but couldn't get the jar open (it was not just me- nobody in the entire family could, so no jokes) so I tried this. I followed another reviewers directions and added feta to it. I also added chopped green onion, oregano , dehydrated onion chips and garlic powder. This dip was amazing!!! Everyone loved it. I only gave it 4 stars since I ended up adding so much to it, but this was a great starter recipe. Thanks!!!

Pumpkin Ginger Cupcakes

These were amazing!!!!! I liked them without any frosting, while the rest of the family (who are all sugar lovers) liked them with cream cheese frosting. This recipe is definately a keeper. These would be great served with a nice cup of coffee or other warm beverage. Thank you!!!!

Apple Muffins

The only things that kept me from giving these 5 stars was the fact that I had to add extra water, and that they stuck to the muffin cups even though I sprayed them-- not sure what to do to remedy the latter, but these were a hit. I did double the amount of apples in these (per others suggestions),and the end product was an extremely good, light, and well bodied muffin. I topped with cinnamon-sugered walnuts and they were so tastey! This was a great recipe. I think next time I will try to incorporate some oats in there somewhere. Thanks!!!

Mini Cheesecakes

These are great little cheesecakes! I made mine using the filling directions here and topped on an oreo crust (about 2 cups crushed oreos- with the cream, and about 3 T butter pulverized in a food processor) They came out perfect!!!

Microwave Lemon Curd

This is amazing- I used it to top off the mini cheesecake recipe from this site. I used a vegetable peeler to zest lemons, then placed the zest and lemon juice in the food processor and pulsed until the peel was pretty fine (I found that much easier than zesting all three lemons). I then added everything into the sugar and eggs. After the 5 min in the microwave, mine was done. I strained it through a sieve and the finished product was a tart, and refreshing lemon curd. I will definitely use this again-- it was so EASY!!!! Thank you!

PHILLY Hot Crab Dip

Eh... I added spinach and 1/2 swiss, half pepper jack to give it a bit of a kick... also added some old bay, however, I still found this bland. I don't really like this recipe. Not sure how it recieved this many high reviews.

Elegant Orzo with Wilted Spinach and Pine Nuts

I served this with marinated chicken breasts sliced overtop, and I used half as much oil and no butter to try and avoid some fat in this dish (it seemed to be missing something, so it could have been the fat). Everyone in the family liked this even after I altered it, so it is definately a keeper.

Pecan Pie IV

I used this recipe over Thanksgiving, and it was a hit! Everyone loved the pie, but I thought that it did not have the buttery flavor that most pecan pies I have eaten have. Nest time I will do some research on other recipes to try to find a remedy. Also, I followed others advice to pour the filling in, then I laid the pecans on the top. I did have to keep turning them around in order to coat them thoroughly, so next time, I will do just as the recipe says and mix it all together, since the pecans float to the top by themselves anyway.

Perfect Pumpkin Pie

Very good recipe, used 1 tsp. pumpkin pie spice instead of the ginger and nutmeg, then 1 1/2 tsp cinnamon. Instead of the unbaked pie crust, I used individual cracker crumb shells, and the results were wonderful. I was hesitant about using them, but they taste amazing. Thanks for the recipe.

Spiced Chicken Loaf

I am not a fan of ground chicken, but this was really good!! My family loved it. I doubled the recipe and added 1 cup chopped celery and substituted egg beaters for the eggs (1/3 cup per egg). Thanks! It was a nice change, I think I may use the stuffing idea for regular meat loaf and see how it turns out.

Best Peanut Butter Cookies Ever

I just tried these, and they were very easy... However, they break apart, so if you are making them for children, you may want to kick them out to the lawn to eat them. The taste was ok, but VERY sweet for me personally. I wouldn't make these again, since they did not impress me much...

Thick-Style Lebanese Garlic Sauce
