Cheddar Broccoli Salad

Reviewed: May 5, 2011
good recipe. I blanched the broccoli as this makes it taste better. I tried to reduce carbs--used rice wine vinegar, no added sugar, 1 tsp light . miracle whip, cayenne pepper for added taste. used red onions sliced very thinly, turkey bacon and only 1/4 cup of cheese. I added lightly browned seasame seeds and almond slivers for additional crunch.

Play Dough Cookies

Reviewed: Apr. 15, 2011
Very cute but not the cookie I was expecting. Ended up putting these in cookie bags which made the cookies soften and changed the texture. Nice look but would not make again due to poor taste.

Very cute. Took the advice of another reviewer and dipped the sticks in egg whites. Also sprinkled course sugar before baking and the cookies look great.

Cinnamon Coffee Cake I

Reviewed: May 6, 2009
Good recipe. I used 1/2 cup butter, 1/2 cup unsweetened applesauce and substituted nonfat plain yogurt(1 container) for the sour cream. I also used brown sugar for the filling rather than white sugar. Baked it in a bundt pan and sprinkled the final cake with powdered sugar. The recipe turned out great and very moist. A very simple coffee cake. Everyone at work enjoyed it.

Spinach Quiche

Reviewed: Feb. 11, 2009
I made this for a work function today and it was a smash hit! Everyone loved it. I sauted fresh spinach about 3/4 of a 9oz bag in olive oil and added oregano and basil to the egg mixture. Turned out great. The bake time was right on. Excellent.
