Spicy Pizza Soup

Reviewed: Sep. 29, 2010
This is one amazing soup! I was a little skeptical that it would actually be a good soup, even with the good reviews. I thought it might be a little bland or boring. But, boy was I wrong. The flavors are perfect. I did add about 3 cups of extra water because I wanted more of a soup consistency than a stew and cooked the pasta separately. I skipped the sausage because we're not big fans, but I know it would be just as good with the it. I garnished it with mozzarella, parmesan and some chopped olives. The perfect Fall soup, or anytime meal. Thanks for the awesome recipe that will be used many times!

Marinade for Steak I

Reviewed: Sep. 26, 2010
I think I just found my new favorite marinade! I marinated flank steak for about 2 hours and it still turned out flavorful and tender. I used it to make steak sandwiches and it was perfect. What a great blend of flavors with everyday household ingredients. Thanks for the delicious recipe that is a definite keeper.

Tail Burner Firehouse French Fries

Reviewed: Sep. 26, 2010
These were pretty tasty fries. I did follow the other reviews and only used two tablespoons of butter and drizzled it over the top of the fries. I think that was plenty to make them nice and cripsy. Of course, I cut down on the red pepper seasoning because we don't like things too spicy. I didn't use as much lemon pepper, because I'm not a fan, but I think next time I will try it with the full amount. These had a nice balance of flavors and they will definitely be made again in my house.

Creamy Italian Dressing I

Reviewed: Sep. 21, 2010
Absolutely perfect! I love creamy italian, but never really found one that was exactly how I wanted it until this recipe. I used low fat mayo and it still came out just right. Thanks for the delicious recipe what will be used again and again!

Apple Crisp II

Reviewed: Sep. 21, 2010
This was absolutely delicious! I served it warm with vanilla ice cream, which just put it over the top. I did have to guestimate the pounds of apples because I only made a third of it. It still turned out perfect and will definitely be made again this Fall. Thanks for the recipe!

Cucumber Tomato Salad with Zucchini and Black Olives in Lemon Balsamic Vinaigrette

Reviewed: Sep. 15, 2010
We, unfortunately, did not really care for this salad. The dressing was a little overpowering for us and definitely too much of it. Thanks for sharing your recipe!

Chocolate Cream Cheese Frosting

Reviewed: Sep. 15, 2010
Unfortunately, we really did not care for this frosting. My little guy wouldn't even eat it, which surprises me because he loves cream cheese. Thanks for the recipe to try though!

Baked BBQ Fried Chicken

Reviewed: Sep. 15, 2010
We enjoyed this recipe. I am so glad that I did not add that much salt, because it would have been inedible. I also cut down the six cups of flour. I did sub garlic powder for the minced garlic, just to save on time (dinner was running late). You do have to make sure not to overlap the chicken, because it will not crisp up. Next time, I will put them under the broiler for a few minutes to make them even crispier. Overall, it is a pretty good recipe and I can see myself making it again.

Mozzarella Basil Bread

Reviewed: Sep. 11, 2010
This turned out to be a beautiful bread. I did cut the recipe in half, as the reviews stated it made two loaves, and I'm glad I did because it still made one huge loaf. I'm going to use the leftovers to make sandwiches today. It was delicious, easy to make and it will be a regular in my house.

Oatmeal Peanut Butter Cookies III

Reviewed: Sep. 8, 2010
I made these because these are my husband's favorite cookies when girl scout cookie time comes around. Well I have to say that I won't have to order them ever again, because these are even better. My husband absolutely loved these, as did my little guy. They were quite easy and tasted wonderful. Thanks for the awesome recipe that will be used in my house often!

Mike's Mushroom Bread

Reviewed: Sep. 8, 2010
Delicious! I've made this several times now and it just tastes better each time. The only thing that I do differently is to saute the mushrooms and garlic a bit before mixing them with everything. This makes less of a bite with the garlic. This is a great compliment to pasta, soup or as an appetizer. Thanks for the great recipe!

Maple-Drizzled Apple Muffins

Reviewed: Sep. 8, 2010
What a delicious muffin! I had a couple apples that were sitting around so decided to make this. I was not disappointed at all. Next time, I think I will try to add a few pecans into the mix instead of on top. This is the perfect fall muffin.

Peanut Butter Banana Bread

Reviewed: Sep. 8, 2010
Besides me making a huge mistake in the baking temperature (I won't even go there..lol), it actually came out pretty good. I did add an extra banana, but it didn't overpower the bread. The chunky peanut butter makes all the difference, so make sure to use that not smooth. Overall, it was quite good and I can't wait to try it with some jam for breakfast.

Tracy's Tomato Artichoke Rice Salad

Reviewed: Jul. 18, 2010
My family really enjoyed this salad. It was quite easy to throw together and went well with hamburgers on the grill. I didn't let the rice chill completely, so it was room temperature and I didn't add a cup of red onions but it still tasted great. The only thing I will do differently next time is to either cut back on the garlic or use garlic powder. It was quite strong in the salad (thank goodness we love garlic!). Thanks for the great summertime salad.
